also crosstrek is just a a lifted impreza hatchback

could be worse, you could buy a ram w/ plastic control arms

I bought a bunch of stock in that company when it dipped. It kept dipping and I'm down 50%. Still kicking myself over that one, I don't even like their cars.

If you're towing a trailer, it used to be (but not always now) the highest rating is with the RWD variant. It's also cheaper and less stuff that can break. I get it if you're in a warmer climate and not planning on doing any offroading. I leave my truck in 2WD for most of the year and usually only bust it out on really snowy days. Helps to know how to drive in low traction too - the amount of lifted 4wd trucks I've seen in a ditch in the south when they get a flukey inch of snow is amazing.

I ordered a set of AST adjustable springs and some spacers(18mm back / 15mm front), which cleans up the fitment on the wheels really nice on the M2. I'll probably do these myself, as it's a pretty simple install, though I'll have to get an alignment somewhere as I don't know shit about alignments and doubt I have the tools to reliably do it. Set aside another couple grand for the ECU unlock / tuning software and that'll be that. Now I just gotta wait...and wait...

Here's a pic of some dude on another forum M2 after AST springs and spacers(i think this was 17mm back, though).
