Are you part of a drift gang and this is your entry level vehicle?
Been forever since I've poked car audio, but yea, get a test album that plays a single frequency per track and work your way through it killing the rattles as you go. Of course, assuming it's rattles caused by car movement instead of the stereo that you're testing with, that might not be as effective unless you have a stereo that can really move shit around. Could always drop a big external speaker in temporarily if you really wanted to deal with it, although might be worth noting that some rattles might be caused by higher frequencies than a normal sub's crossover. They used test tones and went through frequencies, found the rattles caused by certain frequencies, and then put felt pads/expanding foam in the areas that rattled.
As far as I can tell, it’s the car moving, not playing music.Been forever since I've poked car audio, but yea, get a test album that plays a single frequency per track and work your way through it killing the rattles as you go. I mean, it'll still help tighten your car up at the cost of some effort, much of which might be wasted. You won't really know until you can put it in the position that caused the vibration, but trying to fix them in your garage with a speaker in the seat sounds a lot easier than while driving the car. Not perfect, but might do the trick in an afternoon or two of tinkering, which sounds like it might be worth it considering how much it bothers you. If you want to narrow it down first, you can probably get a frequency analyzer app to record/check your specific rattles, not sure if that would save more trouble that it would take though. Although as an effort to effect ratio goes, if you can kill all the rattles that a powerful sub can cause at 20hz, you probably end up with a lot less rattles overall. As far as I can tell, it’s the car moving, not playing music.
This is what happened with my 911. The rattles caused by the bass were way worse than the ones caused by the road, so squashing the bass rattles killed all the others too.Although as an effort to effect ratio goes, if you can kill all the rattles that a powerful sub can cause at 20hz, you probably end up with a lot less rattles overall.
Meh. Impreza itself is a dead market for Subaru, and they don't race anymore. Hell, they pulled out of WRC almost 20 years ago. They did that in the UK nearly a decade ago. Dead brand if you ask me, same as Mitsubishi.
Nobody buys performance sedans anymore, they are going extinct. All anybody buys now are crossovers and SUVs.subaru has gone full lesbian

The Germans' are only surviving because of the badging.
They have definitely taken a massive dive in the last 2 decades. There are still holdouts, but slim pickings.Nobody buys performance sedans anymore, they are going extinct. All anybody buys now are crossovers and SUVs.

It is. Sold the 720s and wanted a better experience. The 675 is slower, but much more special. It won’t make it here for 3 weeks or so as Cannonball Garage gives it a refresh. Is this yours? You picked the right color. I'd like to see some more shots from the front and sides, I've only ever seen them in black/orange.
