What vehicle do you drive?

Needed something for hauling. Got a F350 extended cab with an 8’ bed. First time today I got a load of 50 sheets of drywall in the bed of my truck and shut the tailgate. I think I could pull a house off its foundation with this thing. It is new 2025 stock, and I got it for just under $50k brand new. Ford has employee pricing right now and they’re trying desperately to get rid of old new stock. It’s awesome to drive, though 13 mpg sucks the balls of donkeys.
What is that, half price?

Well, at least the engine is plenty cooled. For a minute. I do not miss doing oil changes. The last one I did, while under the car my cell phone slipped out of my pocket, fell 0.5 inches and somehow found a sharp, diamond hardness pebble in the driveway and spidered my screen lol. Then, when showing my kids how badass and fast the Green Machine(tm) was, my new phone fell out, dropped 0.5 inches and I think found the same pebble, screen protector be damned.

Yeah I don't know how you get it down to $50k. I just got a '26 cab and chassis and the only upgrades were the 7.3l v8 and a crew cab and it came to $61k. Then spent another $2k on a grill guard and $22k on a hydraulic bale bed. I wouldn't have thought $50k was possible but I have no doubt that $100k is.

Ford employee pricing, deductions, the fact that it's more than a year old and had been sitting on the lot, a close relationship with the dealership owner, and the ability to pay cash all contributed toward this purchase. The original MSRP was $62K. It was listed on the lot now for $52K. I talked him down $4K. Boom. Dirk the negotiator.
