I sent them a complaint letter because I'm allergic to cashews.

Woke up to a scorpion sting in left forearm. Great way to start the week.
First time? Don't worry it gets better with each sting. The last time one got me I wouldn't have even known if it hadn't left its stinger in my hand.

Second. First time was a couple years ago on my wrist while moving a potted plant in the backyard.

At least that time I saw it and killed it. I didn't see this one but I knew right away. Same feeling. Same little red dot.

It's waiting somewhere in my bedroom, waiting to kiss me again tonight.

How is a scorpion sting a normal thing for you?

I've lived in the desert for 10 years and I've only seen 2-3 scorpions that whole time and have been stung exactly zero times.
Lucky I guess.

I never saw them either until about 5 years ago. Now I see them all the time during the summer. Crawling across my bed, walking down the hall, peeking out of light fixtures. All over the place outside of I don't go hunting. Disgusting little things.

It hurt like hell all day yesterday. Today I just have that numb/tingly feeling in my forearm.

They can be much worse in places near undeveloped land. Or in your case since they've newly appeared, expanding development nearby may be pushing them in your direction. You may have already done so, but just in case, check into the industrial strength insect/scorpion poison (they sell some stuff on Amazon that they probably shouldn't) and douse the perimeter of your house in it a couple of times a year. Also, google up scorpion-proofing your exterior. They're crafty, so you probably can't stop them all, but you can stem the tide with some effort. Things like mesh over any opening, caulk/foam on any seams/cracks, keeping branches or anything climbable away from the house, a few inches of plexi along your foundation to make it hard to climb, etc.

They glow under blacklight. So they're easy to spot. Your cum stains will be as well but scorpions glow under blacklight. Some do anyway, the smaller, light brown ones.

They are bark scorpions and they definitely glow. So does my bathroom.

When you have a long line of people in a group (usually tourists) that are crossing the road when the pedestrian crossing is green, but when it turns red the group seems to act like one huge, long organism and they just keep on pouring over the street and you watch your green light come and go. Should be legal to plow through them.
