woke up yesterday feeling like shit. had a dentist appointment at 4pm, so was figuring out it i could take something and still go to that if starting feeling better. then dentist office called, he is out sick.
posted about this before after covid really hard to get a dentist in my area. i started going to in an association type place, the idea was to have several dentists and hygienists working semi independently. when i first went there they had 2 dentists, then went down to 1, then 0, then up to 1 again.
asked about rescheduling, dr soandso is leaving in 2 weeks, we are working of adding new dentists......
was looking at my insurance plan, there is one more place within 30 mins that might be taking new patients, after that next ones will be a hour or more away.
also, still sick, got some type of flu.

I should cross post this to the getting old thread. The company sent a warning about vishing, which is voice phishing and it is triggering me mightily. The Ph in phishing already came from phone. You don't have to add a fucking v to try to make it something it always was. Yes technically, the ph came from phreaking, but that ph came from phone. Phishing predates the internet and it was applied to emails because in the early days our emails came in over our phone lines via modems. Then it evolved to cover any technology. This vishing word is stupid and is pissing me off. Is it tishing when it's a text? is is sishing if it's snail mail? Is it just fishing when it's face to face? Actually, that last one might be correct.

Oh so is that separate from using RCS? Because most of my texts are using RCS these days. It only switches me to sms when I'm roaming.

People who scan QR codes never get what they fucking deserve. Speaking of that, I really need to get my QR stickers ordered. My wife has a QR patch on her bag that's a rickroll. I want my stickers to take them to goatse.
