I have a section of fence that is starting to sag. It's 6' chain link that was reused from when we got to the point we could renovate outside. I know the poles are set in concrete cuz I watched the guy do it but they are starting to get wobbly. Try to get 3 quotes:
Contactor #1 made an appointment to come last Tuesday, then never showed, then called late Wednesday , blamed their secretary and asked could they come Thursday. Pissed me off I told them to lose my number
Contactor #2 shares a last name with the landscape contactor that did my yard (all rocks baby!) , I didn't realize it wasn't the same person. Since I had brain surgery my thought processes get all wonky so I ran it by my wife ,she agreed it was semi-shady. Still guy comes by. Got a number today , in black (didn't want black) and keeping the man door I specifically asked be removed. Also the quote looks hand sketched on a piece of paper and texted to me?
Contractor #3 wants $2,875 to do the work and cannot do it until end of December, I expected them to be highest because they are a 'real' contactor.

Work is take down and remove 48' section of fence , 2 car/truck gates and 1 man door. Replace all but the man door.

What is REALLY rustling is I could do this myself but there is 0% chance my back would let me. This growing old shit is for the birds!

I never got why so many American houses have a shower head sticking out of the wall and the valve in the wall. Put the mixer outside, it's 2 easily accessible nuts to remove it if it ever breaks, and you have a movable shower head you can adjust the height of and take off to rinse your ass properly.

I'm going to use something like that in my remodel. The left side knob is a thermostat and the right-hand knob is the volume control. Once you set the temperature, you only ever need to use the one right hand knob and it will maintain that temp regardless of water pressure or incoming water fluctuations.

Yea those are great, has been the default way to go in large parts of Europe for decades. Also much safer for kids or the elderly since there is much less chance of scalding if the handle is bumped into.

The thermostats on them can get a bit lazy depending on how much scale is in your water, turning it full hot to full cold a few times while it's running often fixes it.
