I mean, I always pull in forward because I'm lazy, but I would think it'd be safer to pull out forward for visibility, especially if you have big ass fuckers on either side of you.

And, I don't even know why this triggered me so fucking hard last night, but my student loans are on forbearance but I still make sure to pop in every month and pay off the interest and a little extra until my finances are stable and I can start throwing chunks at it again. I had done that already this month, but logged in again to grab some financial info for filling out my health insurance app and noticed I already had more interest accrued. Now, I'm probably gonna be called out for being retarded, but I didn't realize this shit ticks fucking daily and not monthly (does everything fucking do this and I'm extra-tarded?)? Probably doesn't amount to more than a rounding error, but for some reason I saw that and just got ultra pissed off. I also now feel compelled to make a payment every day.

Driving a larger vehicle (F150) it's very easy to back in to a spot. Pulling out is a lot harder. You have stupid people walking about, driving about, and just general stupidness. Then, upon leaving, I have clear sight lines to pull out. I also back into my garage. Easy to load up the back end of the truck because it's near the tools and such. Again, pulling out is also easier. I have a forward facing camera, so the cameras don't make all the difference, but they certainly help. I prefer to back into a spot so I can pull out so easily.

Sorry this bugs you. As the driver of a larger vehicle this is easier.

I don't see what difference it makes to other drivers, you either have to wait for them to back in or wait for them to back out, no difference.

You do you.

This Jimmy Rustle is reminding me of when I used to work at a place with a 7-8 story parking garage and every once in a while someone would realize they missed an open spot and try to reverse, making me and the cars behind us reverse to make room for them to get the spot they discovered.

My Jimmies are megarustling just thinking about it.

The biggest idiots are the folks in pickup trucks that back into their space at Home Depot or Lowes and come out of the store with a couple of sheets of plywood. Now what? Then there's one guy down the street who backs into his garage. Must smell great in his house.

I was going to post a whole damn soliloquy about my Dunkin Donuts adventure today...Fuckit. People just suck.
What is your budget this month for Dunkins?

Unrelated house taxes have gone up 240% from when we bought the house 11 years ago. How the fuck is this economy still standing? Everything is so expensive and sure as shit not making more money.

264 bucks. It's down.

My mortgage went up 300 bucks starting last month.

I JUST had this conversation with my buddy. We both make OK money (150+ for anyone that wonders). Not that I am getting food stamps...But I definitely can't save like I used to. I stopped a couple donations and not eating out nearly as much.

People who back into their parking spaces instead of pulling in forwards like a goddam normal human being.

It doesnt inconvenience me. It doesnt impact me in the slightest. But still, fuck you.

Why? Not "why fuck you", I'm explaining that. I mean "why do that?" Literally ever other driver in the parking lot pulled in like a normal person, then pulled out like a normal person, and everything went fine. But you, my "I'm smarter than everybody else", you had to literally do it fucking backwards. For what? For no goddam benefit at all. You're still backing up, retard. And backing up is basically no more challenging than driving forward in the first place, so what the actual fuck?

Just be normal. Just do fucking normal things. Fuck.

I would say it depends on you're vehicle. I can see why dudes with SUV's or Pickups would back in. Hell, people are asshats at the super market. They see your fuckin car backing out slowly, and STILL push their fuckin carriage in your way.

It wasn't the property and flood insurance thats killing me, it's the wind/hail hazard. Roofing is STUPID expensive now presumably because the illegal labor is disappearing, although it was getting much more expensive under Biden as well.

I put the deductible on wind/hail up to 2% and my premiums went back down to normal, about $4k/yr on a $3.5M valuation. The wind/hail costs are completely retarded.
