I'm 55, every time I need the services that are based on the taxes I paid, I was told to pound sand

Every year I have to pay taxes, next month I get to write Israel Uncle Sam a check for $2,300.

In the last 5 years, I've met so many people with 'permanent fiances' that are able to get free state healthcare and other services because they don't work. Meanwhile the husband is getting a 60k military pension, 56k tax free from scamming military disability, and a 100k salary. They really should do eligibility by household, I'm surprised they don't for most things. This is also how illegals pile up in a house and scam benefits I pay for.

USPS took two weeks to get something from Alabama to Arizona.

Alabama > Washington > California > Arizona > California > Arizona

Then FedEx did the same thing just a little less dumb.

Nevada > Tennessee > Arizona

Have to justify the spending on employees, infrastructure, and embezzlement.

Short phrase for what is rustling the jimmies today? My mothers house.

Longer form? hot water pipe under the house busts, because the house had an AC reftrofitted to it in the 60's the return ductwork under the floor goes over there the pipes also go underground (pier and beam). So had to do a replace/reroute of the hot water runs. Because of those return vents no plumber could fit into the crawlspace to get to the kitchen end of the house, so they had to go through the kitchen floor...
Which they cut through with the delicate precision of a monkey with a chainsaw...

Now tomorrow I get to go fix all those horrible cuts, and redo the subfloor and floor. And how am I going to replace that quality flooring? It was the absolute fanciest linoleum that 1977 had to offer!

What kind of fly by night plumbers cut your shit up and don't fix it? I've had plumbers have to dig into concrete and cut up floors of a pier and beam house and they always fixed it before the job was done.

you may have already done this but be sure to check Home | Washington Healthplanfinder to see if your kid is eligible for medicare plans. If your kids eligible they get dental for free until 6. plus it can be used with employer provided insurance.

Why do kids under 6 need dental care? Over exposure to fluoride makes you retarded and at young ages its easy to be over exposed.

This article focuses on fluoride in water, but fluoride in toothpaste also counts.

I am not saying they do, nor am I saying hey bro get your free flouride. The free dental comes with free medicare health insurance usually, and can be used with private insurance. I am the sole earner in my family so the coverage in addition to what I get through my employer is just a better safety net. Based on procedure and how affordable we have the option to get procedures and services fully covered through the WA apple health network, or we canuse my employer insurance if we feel that is required.

When it comes to dental coverage, The primary purpose more or less here is for me to get my kids used to the dentist early so they dont act like little cunts when they actually need to use it. However private dental insurance only covers partial cost and the state dental plan covers all costs.

So while I personally try not to seek medical services, or dental services unless needed, its nice to have the safety net. Rather have as many options as possible.

Plumbers I won't be hiring again... That's what type

The dude didn't even know how to properly use a circular saw to set the plunge depth and do a plunge cut. Didn't know how deep the decking and subfloor would be to avoid slicing into a beam... I had to give him fucking lessons, then when he saw the cross supports he cut an un-needed extra space thinking "but just because there were two cross supports lined up with another surely the next space between the beams won't have one!". If he hadn't done that it would have only been around half as much to rebuild.

Rather than see what and how long it would take him to undo his crappiness I got on the phone and had some pretty severe words with the master plumber who runs the shop. Got a nice slice taken off the cost for my troubles and then told Captain Monkey Saw him "Don't worry about it, I'll handle it."

Handle it was today I went over and spent around 6 hours sistering up some additional 2x8's along the beams to give better footing, adding a cross support between a couple and then cutting some rated OSB subfloor and installing that. It's done now, and will accelerate the "we need to replace the flooring in the kitchen" project, but it is what it is. It's solid for now, flat, supports a 230 lb jackass jumping up and down on it to test, and then a washing machine and fridge parked on it.
