Yeah I go for wire on the semi regular it is like pulling teeth to get anyone to do anything.
For work? WTF wow that would be hell.

One good thing about when I was running the beach and when I worked for big ass electric co inc in Vegas was all the supply houses that stopped what they were doing to help us.

I'm in Lowes at least 4 times a week. Get a contractor account, get to know the staff, and things are actually quite good. I often call ahead and they pull items for me. The garage door opener was for me personally, so I didn't go to the contractors' desk. I should have. I know the Lowes staff and they know me. I have a great shopping experience most every time I go there. Yeah, there are very few staff in the store anymore, but that's because most people are ordering online (from Lowes) or they are using the pay online and they'll put it in a locker for you so you don't have to go in to the store. The folks working are mostly picking for online orders. If you get a contractors' card/account and spend the time to get to know the staff they will bend over backwards for you. I'll never not use the contractors' desk again. I guess that was my look in on the way most people experience Lowes.

and yet...it is where my bosses accounts are. That said I like the service for the most part, they all know me and it is usually in and out.
They are multiple stores with a similar name. Had a decent one in CLT NC -though we used to joke that you could tell when our salesman was telling a lie because his lips would be moving. , Terrible one in KY, horrible one in Vegas. I understand you have to go where you are sent.

lurkingdirk lurkingdirk all our field guys in Vegas had Home Depot pro cards, I do not have a lowes near me so everything is HD. Prefer to order online because me & the wife went looking for a new exterior door and the sales guy insisted that despite the computer saying they had one in white, it wasn't there....until my wife pointed at it.

Hit in miss in all fields.

That’s certainly true enough. My local Home Depot is really geared toward rich home owners who think they can do things themselves. Lots of help, low on actual product, and everything ridiculously pricey. Im sure thats not nation-wide, but I have a deep loathing of HD because of it.

They were sending me emails and calling me every day. They even tried to give me a late fee a few days after I received the bill.
This is how you deal with them in the future. Figure out a way to start billing them for being late. I'm not sure your relationship with them, but maybe stored materials, or overhead costs. Send them the bill and make it clear it's coming off the next invoice. Sending out bills for wasted time is the best way to get people to stop wasting your time.

And of course find a new vendor before you start this because they definitely aren't going to pay.

It was a one time thing. I don’t ever have to deal with them again.

Speaking of shipping. Bought something from a company in Florida last Sunday, hasn't shipped yet. Bought something last night from a different company, already shipped.

He's gonna get charged federally for that.
Yeah they are serious about it. We were there this January and there were ropes off areas of beaches for seals and turtles. You go yelled at if you even touched the ropes.

My wife has a 2008 Saturn Vue.

Yesterday the dash started lighting up, the abs lights mainly. It's been a pretty amazing car so far so I'm like, let's just get it fixed so we can give it to a relative next year. It turns out the electronic module that needs replacing isn't made any more and getting a used one is not as easy as it seems since it'll need reprogramming. Fuck it, the lights are staying on. That's not what's rustling me though. It's the idea of buying a new/ used car knowing that I can't even get 20 years out of it without the electronics being outdated being repair.
