Same for me pretty much....

Years ago, pre-marriage, in an online social group I was involved with that was geocentric it was found out the chicks were using a "rating system". The level of pissed they got when I released mine and one question was "Do you smoke?" And the "No" answer was caveated with "If you're really hot I'll screw you, but no way we're being seen on a date or getting into a relationship" was pretty much off the chart. Right up there with the a scale for waist measurement v. cup size and teaching them about the "rule of 100".

Well when I was growing up, the area of NC where I was from was tobacco farm central. We didn't start school until after Memorial Day and for the 1st month it was half days because so many guys worked cropping tobacco. Now that area is all turkey / hog farms. And that is why I'm from there and GTFO as fast as possible.

Growing up in the late 80's early 90's, almost every adult I knew smoked. Then 2 things happened, no one my age started smoking and all the adults I knew that smoked had quit between 2000 and 2010 except for blacks who all smoked black and milds. Only people I know that "smoke" now are 20 year olds from work who vape.

Pretty rare to see anyone smoking out in public these days. Last person I saw was some fat old guy smoking next to employee entrance at a hospital. Cold as fuck outside, no jacket, and long walk to regular entrance. Employee entrance was keycard access, so he had to freeze his ass off for that smoke.

Unfortunately , smoking is allowed and encouraged in casinos, NV is full of casinos.

My mom lit up in the middle of NY,NY when she came to visit. She asked was it ok so I told her no. She believed me for some reason and started to put it out.
I then told her 'mom it's Vegas, if you ask nicely you can get heroin , of course you can smoke.

I try really hard to stay out of casinos.

Dumb 19 year old me drove into Canada to drink and my first thought was: "Holy shit, gas is cheap here!"

I proceeded to pull into a gas station and promptly remembered they were on the metric system when the amount in liters quickly rocketed past my tank's capacity in gallons. Probably a good thing I did that right away since I could have been hauling ass on open roads thinking I was going the speed limit.

I'm interested though, how has your woman's "mask come off"? I've had several women in the past who were super great at first and then after 1-3 months of dating (it's always after 30 days and before 90 days)
30 days ya say? Are you absolutely sure you're not just seeing periods? That's something you're going to have to deal with from any girl. Young girls don't know how to handle it yet and their shit fluctuates much more from month to month. Try carrying chocolates in your fanny pack and offer them one anytime they get uncharacteristically irrational. (I'm assuming you use a fanny pack based on how you write)

Been a while since I went to Vegas, but when I did pretty much all of the casinos had non smoking sections.

I smoke cigars. I remember being in the golden nugget chewing on a cigar at a table game. A woman sat down next to me and asked "You aren't going to smoke that are you"? Well, I wasn't planning to, but she said it in such a cunty way that I asked the dealer for an ashtray and some matches. She left so I didn't have to light it up.

The older you get the more you gotta warm up. I'm bad about it too because I want to jump to it when I get to the gym, but spend 10 minutes loosening your shoulders/chest/back and go run 5 minutes on the treadmill and get a little sweat going before you start and it really helps with stuff like this.

This is totally true. I used to hop on the ice and play hockey full out with no issues. Now I gotta do a BUNCH of stretches before (especially hips), and I have to spend a couple minutes skating hard so I loosen up. If I don't I end up cramping during the game. Getting old rustles my jimmies. I play a lot of hockey, do a lot of physical things, am in excellent health and shape, not overweight, stay active, but none of it matters. Age comes for us all.

Left knee sounds like celery being chewed and my right shoulder & elbow are both failing, albeit slowly. I probably should drop 40 pounds and stop lifting so much but I just don't enjoy cardio like I did as a kid.

You'd be surprised how much the basic PT stuff helps with nagging joint injuries, and time off of course. But if you've worn the cartilage down in your knee (thats usually the crunching sound is bone/bone) there's not a ton thats going to help that but knee replacement, which isn't any fun.

Nope, nothing to be done except get some cool carbon fiber robot parts and have more neat scars. My father in law has had both knees replaced. He's 71 and the procedures were much older than what's available today; he's super active with no discomfort.
I do admit, I could be better with stretching, foam rolling, and joint health. But, like cardio, I don't do it as much because I don't enjoy it. Lame excuse, I know.
