Imagine being an "adult" male and being into the lore/world of Harry Potter. JFC.
I was kind of surprised recently when Harry Potter came up in conversation and I realized Harry Potter first came out in 97. The first movie came out 24 years ago...that's almost a quarter century for those not good at math.

To Tuco's point about most of us being in our 40s, that means this shit came out when we were teenagers or in our early 20s. I do remember ignoring the books when they came out because the target audience seemed to be children, but that wasn't really fair in retrospect because I loved fantasy at the time and they're good books. It wasn't until my 20s when I was married and my wife read them that I gave them a chance and I enjoyed them.

Essentially what I'm saying is hiding behind not playing it cause you're an adult is some weak shit. You're not some tough guy cause you've shunned some books.

I love fantasy shit but that universe she created is cheesy and lame IMO. But I guess thats highly subjective.

She's no Tolkien but the books are mostly good and that game was fun. Somehow I've never seen the movies.

No One Lives Forever 2 (2002)

A clever FPS from the team that would go on to make the Shadow of Mordor games, it's part James Bond, part Austin Powers and a lot of fun.

This game looks right in my wheelhouse but I don't recall playing it at the time. I remember the title though.

Monolith also made Shogo: Mobile Armor Division which was fucking rad. Mech anime inspired FPS that mixed on foot gameplay with giant mech missions. Really unique aesthetic, art design, etc.
