This whole board was playing a game about ugly british kids flicking their wands to stick it to "woke."
If you haven't actually played Deus Ex and can stand old assed graphics, gotta get that one in the gaming memories.
Easily in my top 10 games of all time.
On one hand I'd love a good remake, the other I know they just fucking ruin it, and I'm relieved no one has tried yet.

Whatever you think about the Harry Potter story, the setting is pretty damn cool for a modern secret magic world. The game perfectly captures that world. It's along the same lines as an Arkham game for Batman fans or Shadows of War for Middle Earth fans. It's an OK game that is greatly enhanced by your knowledge and enjoyment of the source material. If you're coming from Souls game the puzzles and combat are going to seem trivial but that doesn't mean it's a bad game.

RDR2, Deus Ex from your list. Both all time greats.
Not on your list, but I've done recent play throughs and believe they are also worthy of your time:
1. Baldurs Gate 1 / BG2 / Icewind Dale - Choose one and play through to see what the best in CRPGs was like. Planescape Torment is also an option (haven't played) if you want a lively story from what it sounds like.
2. Dark Souls 1 - Elden Ring and the others from the series are great, but worth seeing the original. Has a lot of jank which makes it more enjoyable than the more super polished later games.
3. Ocarina of Time - just finished my first play through recently and this was very good. I understand why its regarded as #1. Definitely don't use a walkthrough.
4. Chrono Trigger - I can't stand JRPG combat but Chrono Trigger does it extremely well for the first 80% of the game or so. The end gets to be a bit grindy / repetitive battles but the story, art, combat, characters, etc. all make sense why this is an all time great.
Your time here on Earth is limited. Use the wisdom of the crowd to choose the things worth playing. This doesn't apply when you're craving an experience and need to have it. But if you're choosing the best book off the shelf, stick to the greats.

Yeah, I would agree. Lost interest around halfway through. It's a well made game, though and I imagine if you're a Harry Potter fan it's even more awesome.
