Thats what the story says, he had an aggressive form of non-Hodgkins but a recent scan showed zero cancer. Sucks.

I would add that vampire movie with Ethan Hawke and in the mouth of Madness to essential watches with him. Dude had an amazing career and it's a shame most people will probably only remember his work on the dinosaur movies.
