Sorry to hear it. I always liked him as a guest on "This Week in Tech" and even listened to No Agenda for a while. It's funny because just a couple of months ago I thought about him and had to Google to see if he was still alive.

The memorial episode for John C Dvorak is up on Apple Podcasts and probably the site soon. I just got about an hour into it on a walk. Curry, JCD’s wife, son, friends, good stuff.

One of the first things they talked about is how he got his age faked in the news for decades, so that explains the 1952 birth date. Adam said he’s known for 20 years himself and just couldn’t tell anyone.

I’ll get around to listening to more of it.

get a better podcast app lol. Started it as well. It's a very good memorial episode. Great old clips and reminiscing.

I don’t use Apple Podcasts, or any other podcast app. I always listen to the show on the website itself, which Adam hadn’t uploaded to yet.

He literally linked to the Apple podcast on his personal site.

weird, considering how he has the whole other podcast2.0 setup going. But he sounded rough in the opening eulogy, so he may just have been on autopilot. Ultimately not that important.
