I just found this out now. Holy shit. On top of that, I JUST posted the coming trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4. She's the voice actress for the character, Kairi.
Well the important thing is that she finished the voice work before dying in a pool of her own vomit.

It's more unlikely than not. Usually american voice actors don't record until after the Japanese ones do, and I don't believe the game is far enough through development to do that yet. Hell, maybe it is.

just another dumb od bitch

Regardless, the judge was supposed to hand Hickerson a lengthy prison sentence.

Let's not forget Jon Koppenhaver is serving 36 years to life for a similar battery on a woman.

This guy got 45 days for felony battery on her. That's just not enough. She went back to him and died with her abuser, regardless of the circumstance, the judge could have prevented this with adequate sentencing.

If they were both drug users, I wouldn’t be shocked if it ends up being another “surprise your drugs are laced with too
much Fentanyl!” situation

I guess I will just never understand a person who goes back to people who "beat my face badly enough I didnt leave the house for weeks". I don't care if you are a man or a women, just wtf. And in this case its not like she doesnt have the resources to just move on or plenty of other choices. Man just shows, rich, poor, people can just be crazy.

don't think koppenhaver was in same ballpark as hickerson, he raped and beat the shit out of that chick, plus beat and bit another chick or guy. he also went to jury and found guilty. hecherson plead guilty in exchange of lesser sentence and other charges dropped. i guess the state was worried about getting the conviction.

what did find interesting, he was put under a 5 year restraining order and 4 years of probation in 2021. by 2022, they were already back together, then later that year, he got into a fight outside a hotel while out with her. he was only ordered more treatment and couple years more probation.

Its kind of mind boggling people are still doing powdered drugs in the age of fentanyl.

I mean granted, when I was doing coke in the 90s, there were already some people saying "oh thats too dangerous!" but it was based on like urban legends about rat poison. Never knew anyone who got sick from bad drugs. Never even knew anyone who had a story about their friend who got sick from bad drugs.

In 2026, I think I'd just assume any white powder probably has some fentanyl in it. I guess that risk has just become the new normal.
