my guess, it is going to be another matthew perry situation with some doctor(s) writing some questionable prescriptions. toxicology is still pending and the coroner said it could take up to eight weeks for the results. they did say she had 9 medications with her, but didn't release any names.

Its kind of mind boggling people are still doing powdered drugs in the age of fentanyl.

Doesn’t need to be a powdered drug. During manufacture it can be added to pills as well.

Fentanyl analogs are very cheap for the cartels/drug producers to make. They add a tiny bit to their product to increase potency and also increase the addiction factor. But then users are relying on criminal enterprises who probably don’t have the best quality control, so lethal doses go out. Or the user doesn’t realize the drug is laced with fent and they go to use their normal dosage of the drug and get a lethal fent dosage

But I do agree, people are taking huge risks doing street drugs given they might be dosed with fent (not that it wasn’t risky before)

Yeah Fentanyl is all synthetic and it's doses are measured in micrograms vs milligrams like natural opioids. Cheap and strong is quite a mix.

Word is one of them was klonopin, but no official toxicology. She restarted on back pain medication last year, which most believe means benzodiazepines and opioids could have been mixed. Just as likely Hickerson could have been supplying other stuff.

don't think koppenhaver was in same ballpark as hickerson,

Hickerson also had legal favor from the system. If they did a full investigation like they did for Koppenhaver (DA was directly involved, building a case without relying on assistant DA's or police to do their job. Making sure everything was thoroughly investigated) we'd quickly see additional charges. Most stuff goes unreported. A full investigation without bias can get bad really quick for a guy with a questionable record of violent outbursts. We'd be kidding ourselves if we didn't think there was a time he took her keys or phone away at least once after a beating and tell her she can't leave. Kidnapping would up his legal exposure big time.

The old judge from caught in Providence videos, Judge Caprio has died. I watched a bunch of his vids over the years and I can't recall a time where he didn't show compassion when it was warranted.
