Just watched all the episodes this week. Pretty great show. Rhys is amazing and the actress playing Patricia is great too. And obviously Stephen Root is one of the TV show GOATs.
The Bogeyman episode was probably my favorite so far. That actress just plays scared and frustrated at the same time so well when she's looking down the street and he's just mozying along and she's mad he's not faster. Tazing that bitch and saying "She fucking sucks, okay?" And the shotgun to the head montage. Absolutely amazing.
Rhy's expressions are great, I absolutely hate his fucking kid. I don't know if it's the actor or how it's written, but that kid should be fucking scraping barnacles in the harbor if I were his father. Jesus.
The lineage scene was pretty great too. Classic Patty from My Name Is Earl. Glad she's getting more work.
At the beginning I wasn't sure if it was going to be real or not. Like coincidental shit happening in patterns or actual evil shit, but now that it's evil I kind of hope we get full closure at the end. I don't know if this is a miniseries or tv show, but I'd really like it to just be a miniseries that wraps up. A lot of shows NEED to do that, but then get successful and end up floundering another 3 seasons until they're canceled before the story finishes.
Also this genre, Comedy/Horror is pretty rare for TV. I fail to think anything outside of MAYBE American Horror Story and stuff like Tales From The Crypt? I guess some Black Mirror episodes could qualify. I really like it. Kind of felt a little like Cabin in the Woods comes to TV.
