2 friends got in, no friend invites as far as they can tell.

Does any place list the beta rewards?
Beta rewards are a costume set and a hoverboard mount at launch, they did say they would be purchasable in game (for gold not $$$) for everyone else. Nothing exclusive.

Apparently it was for a stress test for this weekend, not closed, so that would make sense why there are not friend invites.

Thanks for the info Arch.

Everything is 'hybrid'. Every class is a duo-combination of DPS/Healer, Healer/Tank, Tank/DPS. It depends on how they gear/spec/action set.
No, there is no healer / tank combo right now : Warrior is Tank / DPS, Stalker is Tank / DPS, Engineer is Tank / DPS, Medic is Heal / DPS, Spellslinger is Heal / DPS and Esper is Heal / DPS.

The concept is no different then WoW was back then, each class can dps or fill one of the other trinity roles, they have to spec accordingly. I think the good steps forward (or backward since modern WoW has more restrictions then classic) are limited action set and every class having roles beyond dps.

Looking at the last two videos does anyone else think the weapons are a bit too big? It's gonna turn into a running gag like WoW shoulders with the next tier.

Finally. The Medic is by far the most interesting champion to me. I have always played heals and the Spellslinger just wasn't calling me. It was either Esper or Medic. Looks like Medic it is. Wildstar is the first MMO that has actually interested me in years, and I haven't played one since... 2008 or something. But I'm pretty much a whore for player housing, skillshots, and goofyness.

That was the very first thing I noticed, made me barf a little though.

NCsoft needs to be bros and give out betas to people who have played their games.. I've had an account with them since 2004. *wink wink*

If I were to schedule an AMA with Wildstar for Rerolled, what topics would interest everyone? My current plan is to wait for all classes to be revealed/re-revealed and then request a full class lineup AMA. Then as more information is released down the road, do additional ones for Raiding and then the "talent" system they have.

Why they have decided to go with hard factions? What will they do at launch to combat bots? Basically questions that challenge design decisions and ask for explanations. Please no softball bullshit like will I get to wear a cloak and will it move crap. Good luck getting them to agree with that since they have plenty of fansites willing to be fluffers.

Will they allow traitors in their hard faction system so races can choose either side? Could this offer additional story elements or hilarious quest interactions?
Can character creation generate tall, fat, busty, or asymmetrical looks that differentiate more than hair color?
What kind of gear diversity choices are expected at each tier of content, i.e. 1-2 BiS slot farming and emphasis on vanity sets or multiple item and stat choices?
Will token or point systems be implemented and will they require tedious redoing of dungeons or time sink content simply to reach a cap per week?
Is there a future outline for character growth between item and player levels or is it shooting-from-the-hip increases each patch and resets each expansion?
If flying mounts are to be implemented, would travel speed be taken into effect to still offer advantages to ground/vehicle travel?
Will there be rare or named enemies in open world areas that offer unique items, collectibles, and potentially sellable goods?
Level requirements on items, mounts, etc. How strict are they and do you expect such artificial limits to impact the economy?
Auction house system: cross-faction or isolated and will lesser populated servers/factions suffer?
From a community aspect, will there be a steep incline of achievements so server firsts or being top 10 matters to other players or are we each in our own solo worlds of e-peen measurement?
Are characters completely separate or are there account-based accomplishments and collectibles?
Can you design helms and shoulderpads that aren't completely awful like 99% of other games?
Will bank and inventory space be abundant or small? Are there means to increase the amount and will it be more intuitive and involved than a money sink?
Will there be an officially sanctioned means to trade game time codes for in-game currency?

Any endgame information at all would be nice.
How dynamic is the world once an explorer eventually finds everything there is to find? Would you have to wait until a new patch or do places sort of "refresh"?
Is there guildhousing?
Are there zones/cities where both factions can interact/trade or even talk? (even on PvP servers)
Are there languages for each of the (playable) races?
Will there be any underwater mobs or areas to explore?
If my friend is playing Dominion and I'm playing Exile, would we be able to play together in a PvE setting?
Will there be extremely rare items from a solo standpoint, so if you see someone on a cool looking mount you'd know they worked for it?
Will there be housing items from raids, and if so, would every player get them or would it be a drop for only one person?
Can you please not just change colors of armor and call it a new tier of gear?

Do they think they're doing enough to encourage grouping with the xp bonus?
---How big is the xp bonus?
---Are there any other plans to incentivize grouping?

What are the benefits of splitting the playerbase with hard factions?

Are there plans to prevent item inflation we see in WoW?
