My bad. I mixed up one mediocre in-development MMO from ex-Blizzard people with another one.Wait, what? Are you reading infoz I haven't seen, or just basing this statement on this thread? Im probably gonna steer clear of Wildstar based on the combat system alone (personal preference), but it certainly doesn't look all that 'mediocre' to me. Production value looks quite high actually, and there are some decently innovative systems in place from what I've read.
I don't think I've ever said anything different? The game is WOW++. The only thing they are doing different to the WOW model is the telegraph combat and the limited hotbar (which aren't new anyway). Essentially it's a modern Vanilla WOW with all the modern trappings that also include player housing and guild housing pvp.Look... We all get it. I think you have a bud on the dev team right? We all know what that means.
So without doing anything "wrong" I will explain it this way. They have some great ideas. Like most concepts, they are great on paper. The reality is, when put into action, the result will most likely be less than exciting. On a positive spin though, they seem to have a lot of fun ideas. The key will be to keep implementing these new ideas until the result is really fun to play.
The negative spin is Itzena's exact quote. I wish them well. We aren't dumb though.
One of their main features is also 40v40 PvP warplots.I don't think I've ever said anything different? The game is WOW++. The design doc is good, the team appears to be competent, and they have a pretty good vision of what they are building. So without doing anything "wrong" I will explain it this way. There is no such thing as a beta key for Wildstar, invite is tied to a specific email and cannot be changed. So possibility of being scammed is very high.WTB beta key.
lol i saw the same vid!Why are people making video all horrible players?
Just watched a 90 minutes leaked video from beta from a guy who obviously had no clue there was an NDA since he left the watermark on.
While you can see a lot of stuff, he's an horrible player...he's also French and sadly for me that's my primary language and so I could understand what he was saying, just trust me on this...you do not want to understand him, he's an idiot.![]()
He doesn't understand English, so he had no clue how things worked, what all the messages meant etc...so he is totally lost. I am not sure he'd be better I'd the game was in French though, he's really an idiot.
After about 30 mins I had to watch it in fast forward because it was so bad, almost made me dislike the game.
So if you see a 1.6gb download for a leaked video of gameplay...don't bother with it, there isn't much new and it's bad.
