Fate Strange Fake is off to a good start. 2 episodes in so far, and they're both bangers. There was an hour long movie called Fate Strange Fake - Whispers of Dawn that came out in 2023. I'm not done watching it yet, but supposedly it leads right into this season. I'm liking that one as well.
Came here to post this. I thought the 1st episode was neat and doing something different. Then RIGHT OFF THE BAT in episode 2, they hit me with the gayest thing I've ever seen. My son of course walked in right at that moment, and I had a reverse ARE YOU WINNING SON moment . I made a forum name on Crunchyroll just to down vote it. The other show Crunchyroll recommended was awesome, where the guy is sent to another world blah blah, but does 0 combat, just cooks amazing food to give his party stat bonuses. REALLY fun to watch.

I was a bit suspicious when the entire group of people he was with was basically all the japanese gay stereotypes, but rescuing the girl and what not didn't make me sure.
Episode 2 when he embraces the guy to cast heal I knew exactly what this was and turned it off.
I watched it on CR, so I am going to keep getting told to watch it. As long as they aren't full on naked and kissing anymore I am OK with it. The story of an insane worker drone working himself to death in another world is darkly amusing and relatable.
ep 2 of sentenced is out. Yeah it's gonna be an incredible ride. Obviously not as fast paced and gogogogo as ep 1 but we're getting new characters and new setting.

It really depends on how much tolerance you have for bros being bros. However, amazingly enough, I as a grown man somehow managed to acquire the ability to watch a variety of shows that contain sex scenes that I myself do not find titillating (which is about 95% of TV shows with straight sex in some form or another).
BL as a genre started out as self-insert fiction for women/by women; gay guys in Japan had/have their own manga/anime called bara/gei comi which traditionally didn't get localized to the West and typically features muscular or bear-type guys instead of pretty boys. As BL was for women/by women, rape fantasies and the usual stuff women get off to were/still are a pretty common trope.
However, over the past 5-10 years, a lot of those tropes are getting played down or deconstructed, the relationships are becoming more realistic, and the bara/BL audiences are starting to cross over to both genres. You also are getting these hybrid BL + other genre shows which have either near-textual or explicitly textual relationships between two guys; some of them have sex scenes, and some do not.
The examples that I already mentioned:
Sasaki and Miyano
is extremely wholesome and has one (1) kiss in the last episode of the series which is mostly covered by discretion shot, and one short scene either in the second-to-last/third-from-last episode or finale movie (can't remember which) where they make out, clothes on, in an extremely PG-13 fashion. The manga is ongoing and still has had a grand total of zero sex scenes.
Hikaru
has a couple metaphorical/implied scenes where "Hikaru" asks Yoshiki if he wants to "feel his insides," (he has a hole in his chest), but "Hikaru" is a (mostly) benevolent eldritch abomination, he doesn't have a sex drive in the conventional sense (he wants to engulf and devour souls), and doesn't entirely understand why Yoshiki is physically attracted to him.
I haven't read the manga for Office Worker. Based on what I've seen from other peoples' comments, the manga is more explicit than the two above later on in the series, but the main focus is still on the Isekai/worldbuilding aspect along with parodying the life of corpodrones. However, the anime could choose to either play up or play down the sex relative to the manga. We're only 2 eps in right now, so it's hard to guess which way it will go. It's rated as 14+, though, so it's hard to imagine they're going to be able to get away with too too much.
