The most recent projects were the trilogy of Wolfenstein : The New Order, then New Colossus and Youngblood.

TNO was amazing, legit one of the best FPS stories/games I've played but I'm a huge sucker for WW2 alternate history stuff so that was right up my alley. It had a DLC called Old Blood which was fine, it didn't really feel necessary in my opinion.

I bought TNC day one because I loved TNO so much, but I was hugely disappointed. It went full woke and the setting didn't feel as interesting (hard to compare Germania with the conquered USA). I finished it but never looked back because ehhh.. then there was Youngblood and I didn't even buy that because it felt tacky and at this point they had lost my interest in the franchise due to fumbling TNC completely.

As far as I know, there's another game in the works but there's little to no information about it, it's supposed to finish the arc started with TNO but at this point it feels like a parody of itself.

I hope if the show sees the light of day they're going to make it about TNO's era, I don't really want to see another black-centric resistance movement like the stupid ass last season of The Man in the High Castle if they go the TNC route because DEI.

Honestly I feel they don't really need to make a TV series out of this, because the first game was so great with worldbuilding, characterization, interesting side characters, cinematics, etc, that it felt like a long movie already. Plus it's not like they're going to follow the story nowadays about a secret sect of jewish inventors that create doomsday devices and/or deus ex machina worldsaving devices for funsies.

Eh, how was TNC full woke?

Game had done uneven set piece moments, but the town in New Mexico had some great world building and the Venus space station parts were great.

I mean they established her early on as a lady who loves killing Nazis, just like BJ

They actually based her loosely on a real life person from WW2 if I recall. The RL person didn’t go around guns blazing, but she did lure Nazis with promise of sex and then murder them

See, that's the main problem I have with TNC. I can't even recall the town in New Mexixo or the Venus space station, any mention or memory of that game is automatically covered up by this insufferable bug-eyed black chick screeching in every cinematic. Also, while even TNO wasn't exactly realistic with its science and technology, I feel TNC really jumped the shark when it comes to BJ and how they "rescue" him after his capture and execution, wasn't a fan of that personally.

I do, but until you mentioned it I thought it was in The New Order. Don't you travel to space in TNO too? Maybe it was just on the Moon and you only go to Venus in TNC.

I can't recall the taste of The New Colossus, nor the sound of New Mexico nor the touch of Venus space station. I'm naked in the dark. There's nothing--no veil between me and..

TNO you go to the moon base, 2nd game you go to the Venus space station

What's funny is that the same actress/model was in the Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor games as one of the main characters (not the player though) and she was totally fine in those. Still bug-eyed of course, but calm and measured. They really told her to act like a goddamn banshee in just about every scene of The New Colossus.

Liked her on Mad TV back in the day, but yeah, her presence in TNO screaming over every cutscene is the main thing I remember about the game too.

Either way, I liked TNC. IIRC the music was really good, did Mick Gordon do that one?
