Qualifying 2nd in a group having Germany, Portugal and Ghana is definitely a great achievement.

Most probably Belgium in the next round. They have great players but haven't shown they have gelled as a team yet. If USA can get in their faces, I think it can be a exciting game. Pumped for it!

So which r16 matches are we looking forward to? Brazil Chile should be fun, and Netherlands Mexico for me. Mexico impressed me though I think Netherland will win but it'll be exciting.

US advances because of great performances in the first two games in the group stage. If they hadn't gotten that last minute goal from CR7, they could have lost this game 10:0 and still advance, it was a just reward in a world where you can also get cruelly eliminated

If Belgium doesn't shit the bed against SKorea then their match against USA I can foresee to be a cracking game

Brazil vs Chile and Netherlands vs Mexico are great games too.

Costa Rica would chew up a Suarez-less Uruguay and Columbia will beat a boring Greece side.

Straight forward wins for Argentina, France and Germany against Switzerland, Nigeria and Algeria respectively.

It stings me too bro, I feel dirty. But we play by the tourney rules, this was the regular season we made the cut for the playoffs and the playoffs are always 1 and done.

Er actually can there be a tie in the playoffs?
