Naming servers after abilities sounds like a really bad idea. You'll end up with a pretty skewed class base. Swiftmend? Druid server!

Buying gold is gonna make farming pointless. More so than it was to begin with in vanilla.

Hmmm. Do you think it would be better to just do skinning to sell to venders then, since a player will encounter thousands of beasts while leveling?

I remember doing skinning while levelling back then and it paid for my training and shit which was nice. The issue with levelling herb while levelling is that you often have to travel to suitable locations for it, whereas skinning can always be levelled as you go for the most part, just as long as you keep your skill level appropriate.

I'd do skinning on every character for easy money to buy skills, food and drink or whatever you need. It really helps. Unless you're set on something like Tailoring and Enchanting.

Nodes in starter zones had dynamic respawns just like mobs in the last stress test. Doesn’t mean you’ll be able to farm a dozen black lotus in an hour with 4 buddies sitting at other spawn points, but it also isn’t the same as vanilla. Plus each layer has its own spawns so you’re not competing against 15k people or whatever, just ~3k.

Layers aren't going to last past the first phase.

Neither will most players. Plus I have a hard time believing if a server would have 10k+ people online in phase 2 Bliz would just let it ride rather than do something to make it playable.

Who knows what they'll do, but I don't have the levels of autism required to constantly farm mats anymore. That's why I'm going passive cooldown gold gen and just buying what I need. The idea of doing herb loops for gold like I was 23 again makes me want to shove an ice-pick into my ear.

2 new servers coming out tonight.

Hey blizzard, if any of your in-charge idiots is able to read, this is what you do:

1. Copy Herod and all the characters on it onto another server. Name it Ashkandi (or something else equally cool)
2. Give people 48 hours to delete 1 copy of the characters. If not done, you delete it at random.
3. Two new reasonably full servers.

Then send me money via paypal.
