haha no, that's what I actually want in a game. A lot of that stuff could be accomplished bygaspgoing backwards and realizing they made mistakes in casual-i-fying the game.

Okay apparently on twitter Wow dev confirmed with the 7.0 patch you will be getting a different crate from mission completes with the salvage yard. Existing boxes will NOT be effected so I will continue hording my boxes and then spew them open once the new wardrobe stuff is active.

I still enjoy WoW, but they got rid of a lot of what made the game great. How many people do you know that login, do some garrison stuff and then log off? A lot.

That's because the daily content wasbad, mainly because of all the people complaining about having to run dailies in MoP so Blizzard did their typical pendulum thing and swung way too far in the other direction.

Dailies are bullshit. Clearly Itzena, you and I both have different wants in the game. That's fine. I believe there are people that quit this game because of how casual they made it and the dailies certainly did not help (along with welfare epics, no sense of achievement, no community, etc.).
You realize that's a perfectly normal looking curve for a 12 year old MMO, right? And WoW is on such a larger scale than other MMOs that there is no precedent for success or failure at this point.Oh ok
I hated dailies in Pandaria, but I've enjoyed them in most other expansions, including BC. The problem with most of the design of WoD was they gave you TONS of things to do, but the rewards for all of them sucked shit.

Dailies were originally intended to just give casual players a mode of progression that was more in tune with the pace they liked to play so they wouldn't get left completely behind. The implementation at first was fine, in fact it was pretty good. Think of things like the Netherwing reputation in TBC. You had a few dailies to supplement the egg grind if you wanted to rush it out. Or you could just wait and do dailies at your own pace.
Nowadays you can't grind anything out. Most dailies are the ONLY source of reputation/advancement you have. There is no other option. That implementation fucking sucks.

That isn't true at all. You can go from fresh 100 to raid ready without doing a single daily. There are only two reps in all of WoD that require dailies, two in tanaan. The rest have little to no dailies; you have to grind for the rep or wait for dungeon week. There is also no advancement reason to acquire rep unless you want to fly. Your character will be equally powerful with all other characters if you no rep at all.
I'm not fired up for the return of dailies in Legion but lets at least be honest when discussing them.

You're talking about one aspect of the game. Getting raid ready. I couldn't care less about that. Want to get your crafting recipes? Once a day books you need up to 5 of for the recipe. Want to fly in Draenor? Dailies. Want certain mounts tied to most reps? Dailies. Want to upgrade your gear? Dailies/Weeklies.
There are tons of things that are blocked by stupid goddamn dailies in this game. Fuck dailies.

They just need to look at the kind of content that was offered during WotLK and copy that, ffs. They told us we were going to get new dungeons this expansion, but instead we got another gay island/kill rares/loot boxes to gear up alts method.
