Draegan that's actually another problem. They gave us all these cool mounts so we can sit on them by ourselves in our garrisons.

Oh.. and one of the world bosses I think drops a flying mount, which we can't even do in Draenor.

I'm doing world bosses and ashran so I see mounts all the time. Personally I don't see the difference between sitting in a city and sitting in your garrison.

I dont know, theres something about the WoD zone layout and feel thats way more attractive to me than pandas ever were. In my eyes, wotlk was the pinnacle of wow expensions. That said, am very happy with WoD.Could garrisons have been better? Maybe. But they sure as hell didnt remove any social interaction for me. What was a city hub before, beside a very artsy auction house. You chilled idle in capital cities only to play the AH. Blizz just removed a gold sink and allowed us to gather whatever we need in our own private spot.

Could 6.1 have been more? Hell yes, has it stand its super duper shallow. Their only saving grace is BRF was just released. BRF could have basically just been tacked on 6.1 and everyone would have went '' aaaaaawrooon, sweet content patch''. So when i think of 6.1 i think of it fused with BRF.

Cause seriously, a selfie system and twitter integration? Bro, u serious? The only sad part of it is blizz pushing it / selling it as content, even with their ''promotional 6.1 video''. That video actually makes 6.1 feels worst lol.
I think they probably made a mistake of not just pushing BFR's release a few weeks and had it come out with 6.1. Most people already thought that is when it was coming out to begin with and all the time effort they took to tell people it was not part of 6.1 only to have 6.1 have very little actual content is a real head scratcher. Had they pushed it a few weeks and had it come out with 6.1 I don't think anybody would have gripped about 6.1 lacking content at all.

I bonus rolled 3 pieces of 680 tier this week.

Everyone hates me and rightly so.
Heh the funny part is the other hunter still has a 645 weapon. Which is really his own fault for not pugging extra shit every week or just buying one because that's what I did (and STILL do. Fucking Butcher.) But we've gotten so much protector that I should have saved my tokens. Maiden's cloak and Blackhand's trinket is all I have left in all of heroic.

Fuckin 655 butcher trinket is keeping me out of 680 club. Times are hard, man.

Axeman and the other "nothing to do crowd" either don't want to raid or want the game to occupy them meaningfully for an extreme amount of hours a day.

Like Gorehack mentioned, I don't have anything to do on off-nights either, but I'm not just okay with that, I'm ecstatic about that. I donotwant four hours of "shit to do" a day. This "shit to do" is either relevent to progression raiding and then somewhat mandatory or it isn't. If it isn't then people will complain that its not worth it. I pay $15/mo for 24-36 hours of raiding a month and yet somehow this has bastardized the entire genre? Lot of mad poopsockers pissed off they can't play 12 hour days to great glory anymore and actually have to be good at raiding. Tons and tons of guilds are recruiting across all levels of progression with all types of schedules. If you want to play WoW 12 hours a day at a high level then Midwinter wants you!

BRF is a great zone and I'm really impressed with how the fights are different yet entertaining with proper tuning. My guild is 9/10N 7/10H and we'll get Maidens down next week -- progression feels solid and we have our sights set on recruiting for Mythic. Should I "get bored" with raiding then yea, no shit, I need to go find a new game to play. WoW has never really pretended to be anything other than raiding/PVP at "end-game".

That's what cracks me up about the "nothing to do" crowd -- they quite obviously didn't progress whatsoever through the raid zones and are acting confused and slighted by it, when anyone on this fucking board could have said ("Yes -- if you don't like raiding or pvp then you won't like WoW.")

That's what a real MMO does - you know, massively interactive? Ultima Online occupied us meaningfully for an extreme amount of hours in 1997, almost 2 decades ago. EverQuest did it. Camelot did it. Gameplay was focused around players interacting with each other in the context of the game world.

Warcraft does not because they removed all of those massively multiplayer gameplay mechanics - looks like now instead of sitting in town afk you sit in a single-player instance garrison afk?, and that's why it will always be an inferior game.

So, when trying to get proper secondary stats on your, what is considered an acceptable ilvl sacrifice for better secondaries?

That's going to vary by class/spec. For some classes certain secondaries come close to the same value as main stat even. Some classes are fairly close in regards to secondaries so ilevel is almost always going to be a straight improvement. Just need to find what the stat values are for your spec/class. Not sure if Mr Robot still is a thing or not, haven't messed with that at all this expansion.

I spent 8 hours today farming some events with about 60 other people today in WOW.

So... gear up followers immediately on tues, or wait for tues night raid clear?

The idea being to make sure there are enough kills in to get a mythic cache instead of heroic. I have no idea if delaying gearing them will actually affect anything.

My understanding is once you have two followers at 660 you can get the mission. So you'll want to delay doing that until you have the required 21 heroic kills.

I'm hearing that if you level up your followers after getting the kills for the week it doesn't count either.

Personally I'm going to hold off to see how bad the crying on the forums are first. Let the impatient peasants get stuck with a normal or heroic cache. I'll just wait for mythic once we know the proper triggers.

It should pop within a minute. If you want to optimize gear updates, look on Master Plan which 2 followers are the most commonly used in all 4 missions, raise them to 660, then look at which mission pops to raise the last needed (if lucky).

There's apparently a bunch of missions at 675 as well, but they're not raid/legendary related, so you may wish to raise those two followers to 675 to see what also pops on that slot, even if the raid mission takes priority.

If it's 21 kills I'm already good but that's also an assumption afaik. I don't think you need the followers leveled up for the kills to start counting but wtf knows.

I think I'll wait until after farm night to be sure. A heroic cache would be a complete waste so I don't think I'd be hurting anything by getting another 8 or 9 kills in.

I like that I can log into WoW on Wed/Sun/Mon and on the other 4 days of the week I can jerk off, watch tv, do housework, jerk off, or play other games.

I absolutely do NOT miss the days of having to be logged on 12 hours a day to do nothing but fuck with bullshit menial tasks.

EDIT: Fuck all those MoP dailies, fuck them right in the ear.

They apparently hotfixed some stuff on raid missions. I had my first three level 100 have their raid mission pop within a minute or two of raising a couple followers to 645. However, last night, I did it on my fourth level 100, and the mission didn't show up, even in the morning. I've raised a third 645 follower, but it still didn't pop immediately. Curious.

You don't have many alts, do you? With 7 90+ chars, it takes me almost 2h to do the full rounds of the garrisons, and that's without doing any daily quest/dungeon/whatever. Just gathering, picking work orders, and resubmitting missions (which is the least part of it).
