I have never been more tempted to forsake my Alliance blood, boost something to 100 horde side and try to get in with you guys. Sounds like it is good times but I know in my heart I suck too badly to run with the big dogs.

Curious too how they lore away the artifact weapons for the next expansion. My guess right now - on the big assumption that the next xpac is some kind of assault on Argus to finish Sarg/Legion once and for all - is that to get there, your fancy weapon will either get consumed in the creation of a portal, or won't be able to travel through whatever portal you need (a la old school Pools of Darkness if any of you remember that from back in the day). I thought I read somewhere that artifact weapons weren't continuing past this expansion so they are going to need some serious reason as to why the most powerful weapons in Azeroth are getting left behind for whatever the next adventure is.

I think it depends where they go with it. I think the final hurrah of these artifacts is going to involve sacrificing them to banish the legion or lock it away.

Check My Wow

For MM hunters it's pretty easy to just see what your up time is of Vulnerable and if there were any missed Marking Targets procs missed. From there it's number of aimed shots which is a direct correlation to your resource management.
That doesn't seem to be working for rogue :(

edit: yeah, nvm, doesn't support rogues (yet)

Thanks man, I'll be on about the time raid finishes (9:15 EST, right), so I think I have it but it just seems off.

You mean OG Hero Class? They're always the right call.

Seriously, druid gets 4 fucking specs with different roles, DK gets 3 specs for two roles, and DH gets two specs for two roles. Outlaw should have turned into a ranged DPS spec for Rogues...

Druids are good bang for the buck. They are the only class that can literally do every role in the game.

Their BiS for legendarues at least for guardian druids assumes you can equip 2 and have the top 2. So take what is there with a grain of salt, and let's be honest you'll only ever get the shield necklace
Let's be honest, I will never actually get a legendary.

This was my line of thinking. Then 2 of my characters both got one in 24 hours. Albeit the ones they got were pretty shitty - My main got the awful ring and my paladin got the bracers that want you to try dying to trigger the effect. But maybe I'll start getting a ton now like some people I know who have four on one character.

There aren't any super awesome examples in EN, but there were plenty of encounters in WoD that "required" a cheat death mechanic. Those bracers may not be a straight DPS increase, but they're awesome for making sure you live and get to utilize Retribution.

I've got 7 days played at 110 on my Druid and 3 days played at 110 on my Hunter. Neither has a Legendary. None of that is really time spent idling and I've run every mythic every week since hitting 110 on both. *shrug* Some things are just not in the cards, like Legendaries :)

I won't disagree with that. They aren't a major DPS item, though the stats are nice. But yah, I have to laugh at how long I live with the bracers. We were trying to wipe on Xavius last night and the bracers and other automatic cheat death options that Paladins have wanted no part of it.

Archaeology
  • It should now be easier to obtain Jewels of Aellis for the quest "Sifting Through the Rubble". Angry Highborne Spirits should now have a 100% chance to drop a jewel.
AH so they did fix the drop rate and it was just not my imagination that my luck was utter shit the first night I was trying to get those.

Stepping into Mythic, with an 855 ilvl as Arms, because Mastery is a must... Really hoping this Fury buff is better than advertised come Tuesday.

Still waiting on legendary. Hello, is anyone out there?

Finally got around to leveling a WW monk. It is just pure fun. I feel like I have an answer for everything and with things like karma I have a really solid defensive ability. Cool down times on the abilities are not too long and the mobility is great.

On a side note I have started putting four level 110 characters though the Headless Horse event every day to try to get the damn mount. I am pretty sure I am wasting my time.

Obviously doesn't take into account the socket or the enchantment, but a 3% upgrade seems weird.

Depending on your class, Mastery is a really big deal. You can set Pawn to give a static value to sockets as well.

Which mod is that showing the % upgrade of one item over the other?
Pawn, but the values it gives each stat is a bit weird. I ran simcraft a bunch to get some other values to input as weights to determine upgrades/item values.

Pawn is good and not good? Anything with a socket it will always say is 2-3% better than what i have on even if its like 10-20 ilvl

There are default values with it for class/spec (and you can import wowhead or mrrobot ones, or import your own from simcraft). The default values are different than the ones I got from simcraft for my specific character as well as being different from what IcyVeins listed as my stat priorities.

You can compare "naked" without enchants or gems, but if a gem socket is present it assumes the BEST gem will be put in when giving that item. Most of the time that is 200 main stat (I think?) so that can sway values quite a bit.

I modified my sockets pawn string to hold the same value as 150 mastery. That's what my sockets will hold. As long as you use the correct gem for your class you should be fine modifying the value of your sockets to amtch and it will show you what is what.
