More than what a brew can put out lol. All the fights are timed and you get insta-killed if the time runs out.

Just have to get to rank 3 and defeat Meatball to unlock the quest chain for him. Any DPS spec in like 850-860 should be able to do that in their sleep.

Out of curiosity do you have to do the brawler unlock on each char or if i do it on one will it pop on alts?

Each character has to unlock Meatball.

One Brawler's Guild invite works for all of your characters on that account.

Actually you don't have to do that at all. I believe you're thinking of the garrison follower version. The Legion champion version is way easier. I never fought him.

I would like to confirm (since I haven't seen it stated here) that you do not need to rank up in the Brawler's Guild in order to acquire Meatball -- only completing the missions (with bonus) is required, and the missions will spawn regardless of your rank. My main is Rank 2 and all my alts are Rank 1, but I have Meatball on every character.

In fact, here's a minimal-effort guide for those who want the champion, but don't want to brawl:
  1. Get a Brawler’s Guild invitation on one character. It works account-wide.
  2. Defeat Oso. (Yes, one brawl is required.)
  3. Complete the mission (100% is good enough) There is no Brawlers Guild.
  4. Watch five wins at the Brawler’s Guild. Turn in quest.
  5. Complete the missions (you need the bonus loot, so try for 200%) Council of War, Its Clean Up Time, Master of Shadows, and I’ve Got a Strange Feeling About This.
  6. Turn in the related quest. Repeat Step 5 and 6 for each of the four missions listed.
  7. Once you've turned in I’ve Got a Strange Feeling About This, enjoy your new champion!
  8. Repeat Steps 2 through 7 for each character on which you want Meatball.

Isn't there another generic champion you can get from 7.2 as well? Not sure if it's obtainable yet though.

I don't know about 7.2, but you can also get Moroes as a champion. He drops a bell in the new Karazhan that starts the quest. Not sure on minimum difficulty requirement, but it's a random loot.

So is there a replacement/work around for WQGF yet? My World Questing quality of life just decreased by approximately 95%.

I believe Angry World Quests has that feature and it was updated? Not sure if it still works or not though.

Agreed. I guess it was unintentionally dropping people in the same CRZ cause groups weren't closing with the addon causing massive lag, which I've seen several times while using it with my ping spiking to 400 when joining another server.

The addon vaguely still works if you right click and hit refresh only once on the groups it'll show a list you can join. 2 extra clicks.

I'm kind of annoyed though literally the night before I was joking "watch blizz disable WQGF just to piss people off" and woke up to it not working.. fucking fucks

Even though it had a pretty significant (negative) impact on me, I don't disagree with Blizzard's actions at all. Clearly the server infrastructure wasn't designed to support the CRZ behavior of the addon. It was far too common to join groups on the Broken Shore and have unplayably high latency. Hopefully this is just a bandaid and a more permanent solution will come with 7.2.5 or 7.3.

It won't happen.

For those of you who don't know this, Blizz addons are basically bronze-age programming. There is a hidden 'addon channel' that addons can type text messages to, review and take actions off of. There is no API, no synchronization with other players via game tools, no connecting to some game-hosted database. It's all literally millions of lines of traffic for some shitbox addons going over this channel telling it nothing is going on this 1/4 of a second but let me know what you want from Taco Bell.

So the individual addon developers have to develop a streamlined data storage and communication protocol to support types of data transmission that is not supported natively in game and/or allows addon support. So let's, for example, say you wanted to automatically create an addon that allowed you to note the geospatial region of a player to allow them to autojoin a group. That means you would have to literally generate a new engine to determine 'GPS' coordinates, filter through millions of group finder requests (remember group finder is global) and tunnel data inside that spamming new group finders to constantly update information about your addon embedded inside approved Blizzard communication pathways in order to operate on what a normal person would consider an 'automatic' level for any type of modern or standard application. You can't just 'develop apps' like you would on the phone, you literally have to hack apart shit, for example if Tetris was the only approved application for the iPhone and you coded text messages on bricks to make a texting tool.

I blame Australians for this shit. Aus and Brazil players loved to swamp the shit out of WQGF. Brazil isn't so bad cause the data center is in the US. but the aussies bitched for years about having their own servers only to flood WQGF and force you to get stuck on their laggy server after you were done.

All blizz needs to do is just put up Trump-like internet walls on the realms anyway for CRZ. Tired of the communication issues with the latin servers anyway.

Yeah? Well fuck you.

Since the day the Australian servers went live, players have begged Blizzard for the "option" to NOT be joined with US servers for CRZ PvE , and especially for PvP, for the obvious reasons you've stated.

It works both ways sunshine! Australians get stuck on YOUR laggy servers too. Blizzard has completely ignored this request, apparently because of concerns about fragmenting the player base. Er, an OPTION, wtf.

We love our sub 20ms ping over here, and would gladly not have to suffer ever again with the shit 300ms we've had to deal with since 2004.

I don't even play anymore, but at least blame the real culprit, asshole.

Yep, sorry Tarisk, your anger's in the wrong place. Blizzard done fucked up hard if it's even possible for CRZ to work that way in the first place.
