Battle for Lordaeron

• Horde burns down Teldrassil
• Alliance attacks Lordaeron
• All out war sets up for Horde controlled Kalimdor and Alliance controlled Eastern Kingdom
• No external threat, so war against each other becomes focus

Sounds like they are going to have to redo a lot of the old world zones again too

The implication seems to be that either faction can unlock all six (ala Panda)? Has that been explained in more detail yet?

6 allied races at launch with more planned.

• Void elves, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves for Alliance
• Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, Zandalari Trolls for Horde

Void Elves are the Alleria Windrunner type elves.

Allied races have new racials

Sounds like you just need to do the quest to unlock them then can race change, leveling them is just to get a heritage transmog

They said it was 3 for each faction, i forget which was which though. I'm sure it'll be on mmo-champion real fast lol

Fuck alliance getting screwed again. Slightly yellow draenei and slightly purpler elves.

Leveling Improvements

• Expanding zone scaling to all zones
• Zones have level ranges with caps
• Flexible expansion order
• • Burning Crusade is 60 - 80
  • Northrend scales from 60 - 80
  • Applies to dungeons as well
  • Beginning in 7.3.5!

Wait, are they really going to redo the vanilla leveling again? Have Horde not step off Kalimdor and Alliance not step off Eastern Kingdoms? It was borderline a waste of time in Cataclysm, but now those zones are newer than multiple other expansions*.

Is that seriously their schtick? "Experience the adventure from the beginning as a new (sub)race!"

*I _might_ consider it acceptable for new players (not that I know there are any), if those new zones autoscale from 1-110 and you don't have to enter an old continent unless you want to.

Fuck finally I can level WoD > Cata > and finish up in Dun Morogh!

I have no idea why but I actually enjoy leveling, so I guess I'm happy about those changes.

Still not sure if the expansion is particular interesting overall but could be neat.

I'm going to miss my Doomhammer =/
