Since this game has come out I've been part of every launch. This will be the first one I skip. No interest in playing dress up in my house.

Same here. Loved Dragonflight. I dragged feet on War Within but still bought it last minute and maxed a character out.

I think a big thing is the release window. I need more time to get up for it. Aug-Sept I would have bought it I figure. Its just not offering enough compared to other expacs. Outside of the housing looks phoned in, and as if they already have focus on another expansion far along ready to go.

Pretty sure they put in houses to get the same degen audience FFXIV has. Going to be weird pedo shit with gnomes, furry parties and all the other shit FFXIV housing caters to.

Holy shit is that writing terrible, especially Arator’s.

I spent some time in War Within because friends dragged me in. None of us are getting the expansion, which is also a first for us. The quality has gone so far downhill it's laughable. I did actually think the 2nd video below was just a work in progress placeholder they accidentally went live with:

I want to play it just to… I guess, see it? See what theyre doing? I really enjoyed the zones as I leveled through War Within. The first raid was actually fantastic. The spider boss queen was probably the most engaging fight Ive done as far as mechanics. The last raid with the Void Boss I watched videos of and that looks even crazier. I got the furthest in Mythic +, thanks to Juvarisx Juvarisx - that Ive progressed in Mythic + since Legion. Though I know that has more to do with the social aspect of just playing with people I know.

But the actual act of playing and engaging in it just leaves me with apathy. The game is like going back and living with your parents. Nothing is the same and your parents pet the dog when he pisses on the floor now instead of throwing him out of the house at mach 9.

The only game Im actually looking forward to is Crimson Desert, right now. But not a single multiplayer game is on my radar and thats kind of sad.

AoC was the only game I was keeping an eye on. Now that that game has crashed and burned, the only other thing I am mildly curious about is the next TLP and and the actual ruleset. Crimson Desert and GTA6 are the two single player games I am interested in.

The gaming environment appears to be slowly drying up.
