In the show Chuck, there is a scene where one of the characters loses all his memories of movies he watched. So he watches the Star Wars movies, but he starts with episode 1 and the prequels ruin his enjoyment of the OG trilogy. He then mentions he saw the first 3 Indiana Jones movies and asks if there are more than 3, so his friend says 'no' to save him the pain of Crystal Skull lol

I know you are like 50% joking, but there actually was a hard-coded writer's guide (maybe for Amazon Prime shows? I can't remember where I saw it) that listed a bunch of things they need to include, and it was just embarrassing. Black people could not be simple criminals (villains were ok), it had to have more minorities than straight white males, etc etc.

Most of these anti-housing comments read to me as “I have zero creativity and never made my own custom bases for my GI Joe figures”
I used to make earthen dams with water behind them and bases made with blocks and sticks so I could have environmental destruction as my GI joes fought. These posts make me think some of you just banged your action figures together like a caveman playing with rocks lol

Problem I have with WoW housing is that it's too little, too late. This would have been peak around wotlk/cata era when people who played weren't all gay furries. Imagine a cool guild hall, putting boss loot from your first big kill on the mantle. Instead now wow is non-binary slop and housing is more isolating than garrisons were.

Sure, as a kid with limited options that was a thing, but we aren't 10 years old anymore and most power gamers (as would inhabit a gaming based forum) would rather do something that actually impacts the game we are playing. Plus, of course, there are plenty of games where you can build shit just to build shit, have better tools/mechanics, and no MMO grind.
