I hope they have something planned for weather systems to go along with their new visual effects. I think it's one of the most immersive things they could add. Flurries of snow in Dun Morogh, a tropical rain storm in STV with water evaporating off the ground after the rain creating mist, a blizzard in Winterspring, a sandstorm in Tanaris, etc.

Sir, this is a billion-dollar company. Most of the money goes to bureaucracy and HR, which makes sure no toxic meritocracy can take hold of the organization by only hiring the correct pronouns.

I still see RP as appealing. They will likely be less strict than Turtle WoW as you have to be reported a lot for them to do anything. At bare minimum it keeps fags from being too faggy in game and they have to relegate true faggotry to Discord.

Legacy allowing talent points to be 5-55 rather than 10-60 is fucking FANTASTIC. This streamer is out of his fucking mind retarded. I think the issue is that new blue sky elves are showing up out of left field. Isn't the point of this to be a re-imagined version of vanilla WoW? If they wanted elves, why not just add High Elves for the Alliance and Blood Elves for the Horde? Both of those races have long ties to classic Warcraft - all the way back to the RTS days - so they would fit the retro theme perfectly.
Instead, the blue sky elves seem like a lazy race shoehorned in to boost microtransactions and box sales.

Only thing I remember from checking out an RP server back in the day was the sheer number of dipshits using the inn in Elwyn Forest as a stripper joint with naked night elves dancing on every table.

If they did this then they wouldn't have been able to charge you and Chinese for it without significant backlash. As they would be stripping out existing races from retail and simply reselling them to you. Making them gay space elfs gets around this issue so they instead just have people complaining.
I think my one big dislike is lack of cross faction features. I don't really care about raiding/grouping since its realmless but I would have liked to be able to send mail or shared bank with my characters no matter the faction they're on. This was a very nice feature of Turtle that I greatly appreciated.

Blizzard will find something to justify microtransactions no matter what. People are going to complain about those microtransactions either way. I'm not sure that gay blue space elves is a value added proposition over High/Blood elves. Is there really a furious faction of fans that will revolt over having to pay for pre-existing lore elves from retail being put into WoW:Forever, but are totally cool with paying for those same elves if they're new and blue and gay?
Heck, maybe there are! I don't know - I don't work for Blizzard (I'd have been fired long ago with the Cosby Crew). God only knows what their modern financial model really looks like behind the scenes.
