With everything solved, sure, spamming dungeons would have probably been much faster. If dungeon XP is now trash, then ideally you find a group of people that have roughly the same play time as you, before release, and roll through questing. That way everyone stays on the same quests, at the same level-ish, and can easily pick up where you leave off every day. Sure, there may be times when someone decided to play a little longer, but as long as they are good coming back and helping, or doing stuff like tradeskill/gathering, then it will still get the group together for the vast majority of the play time.

Doing that on the original release was easily one of my best gaming experiences. It wasn't like we were all good friends ahead of time either. I hardly even knew most of them, it was friends of friends coming over from EQ. The group XP bonus made up for it being a little less efficient back in Vanilla, but not sure how they are handling that if 90% of XP is going to come from quest completion. We stayed far ahead of the glut of people crowding the zones and were sometimes the only people in the higher level zones.

They just need to make it to where you don't gain exp or quest updates if someone is to high a level.

Return dungeon xp back to classic normal value leave dungeon quest xp as is now.

As for the Asmon situation guess I'll have to reach in and try to pull out my inner roleplayer.

Keeping an eye on Ele Sham changes too & how it'll scale at 60 for PvP. Really hoping it ends up broken on launch.

They should make dungeon xp and mob killing zero xp and only quests level you… just to piss you fags off. You act like we don’t spend 99.9999% of the time at max level in an MMORPG anyways

I had decent luck looking at the LFG tab and seeing groups posted as forming and then messaging the leader directly that I was DPS.

Yup never understood why they never went the EQ route with group exp. Seems like an easy fix.

Another random thought, I wish they'd add more "Sergeant Slate" type NPCs to zones, esp in places like Stranglethorn. Definitely give them a large KOS range. Could be on a random timer so it's not always griefing the zone lol, or maybe make it a turn it for a low level daily.

More random world bosses would bring fun to the world and keep things exciting too.

12-20 on Horde - in the Barrens - feels like its taking twice as long as 12-20 with Alliance and I'm not even having to contest mobs.

Well, unless Daybreak rectifies the AA situation on Frostreaver, I might be trying this out sooner than planned. I will go alliance PvE but still have some time to consider race/class. I might try out the new Draenei Race.
