Having seen the newbie areas, I believe it. Still super crowded. I do enjoy seeing the real lines for the mobs that drop a quest item or the ground quest item spawns. There must have been 40 characters standing in line for the named in the cave at the dwarf/gnome starter area. I am playing a Shaman so I just waited and tab shocked the named.....

I wonder how fast they will create more content for this server.

I had a hunter this morning run out of ammo and started to melee. He also butt pulled 2 extra packs and almost wiped us.

Truly felt like 2005.

Also for everyone dooming about Blizzard going off the rails seeking balance. IDK if that should be that much of a worry. They have already introduced tons of completely retarded items in the game with really quirky effects. They did this deliberately. While Classic had weird items too (that one armor that put enemies that hit you to sleep with a proc comes to mind) and all of them were nerfed for the sake of balance. They just need to be more careful with it. Asking a lot I know but just like 2005 the majority of the player base will not even do these raids. Like not at all. So they need to not approach this with "if 90% of the players don't complete all of the raids then its wasted dev time."

That statement is true on its face but ignores that most people don't even finish single player games they buy on Steam. Probably the majority don't. I know I don't even play games I buy on sale more often than I'd like to admit. Just like many others here.

I look at achievements on games I play. A good portion of them don't even get played halfway through.

got annoyed and had chatgpt make me an addon that auto untracks quests when they are done. Might add a couple of more features but it'll do for now

Level 23.5 now with instance gear and Mage feels so bad still. I don't know how this got through beta. Comprehension is a worse than useless inventory nightmare thought up by some Gen Z intern. Wish I had rolled anything other than this. I'm leveling a hunter at the same time because I'm playing with friends in different realms and my hunter without a pet at level 9 felt as strong as mage did. It's comical

Gotta have MAX EFFICIENCY ALL THE TIME am I right?

The majority of players are whining because they want things to be more efficient. Something like comprehension where you get some drops you can interact with other players over you see this as an attack on your efficiency. Why?

I'm leveling a warrior, the worst class to level, and having a great time. What would be ideal for you on one of the most efficient classes that you are already playing?

I think they did a good job with this version so far. Basically they just copied some of what Turtle, Epoch, and Bronzebeard did.

Now let's see if they keep the bots out like those mentioned above did.

To be fair, if I'm correct T Torrid was responsible for the TAKP combat code mostly through reverse engineering extensive logging he personally kept and a ton of testing. Of all the types of autism his is the high-grade weaponized form I can get behind.

I agree with your broad point but my impression is he's the exact kind of person that would prioritize optimization. This mindset spreading across the broader community has been a net negative though

Who knows if they can do that. Even prior to the Social Media days they caved to it when faggots cried that some minor nerf made it pointless to play their class.

Exactly like they are doing right now just amped up to 11+ with bots and other faggotry.
