This movie has the right grindhouse combination of slasher horror, comedy, sex, and straight up weird shit.

Can't wait to see what comes of the post credit scene.

Of all the Ti West movies this is my least favorite one. This one is so retro that it's just already been done and been done just as well. It ended up feeling like it went too meta, the director in the movie was going to elevate porn above just being porn and this seemed like it was elevating old 70's horror above what you normally would think it should be. Maybe it was just the screen that I was watching it on but the first half of the movie did a great job of using the camera and lighting and movement to create tension and scope but once things kicked off it was mostly so dark that I could barely see anything. The inside of both houses are so dark that I really couldn't see anything most of the time. It's not bad but his other movies are much better at building tension and are paced much better.

Completely agree. I wanted to love this but it was just ok and I would never rewatch it.

This movie was fine. The Innkeepers and I Saw The Devil were vastly superior though.
