I’m at roughly one movie per year. I don’t find anything new to be entertaining or worth my attention. As a kid, the same movie 2-5 times per day.

I feel like this is everyone now. My kids only care about 1 or 2 movies a year, I never go. Kinda like walking around a mostly abandoned mall, you get the feeling of being inside a dying industry.

The first movie I got as a kid was a bootleg copy of land before time my grandparents had recorded onto VHS back in like kindergarten. I remember watching it like 10 times that day and, and remember the pizza hut commercial of the birthday party before it to this day. Now adays you couldn't pay me to watch 99% of movies.

I never did bootleg movies because the FBI warning worked on me. I almost skipped Borat when someone gave me a copy.

Graham Linehan was the creator of the IT Crowd which is the show that aired the above skit.

Graham is also the same guy which the UK arrested for saying men can’t be women.

I wonder what they would have done to Benny Hill if he was still alive.

I always made sure to cut the FBI warning part. I mean if I pirated movies.

Here is one, you are OLD if you know what DVD-Shrink is!

That sounds as bullet proof as the girls swapping packs of cigarettes with the boys because the girls didn't want the ones that caused birth defects, and the boys didn't want the ones that caused cancer.

Season 2 episode 1 of the IT Crowd .where they go to a play, is hands down the funniest 30 minutes of TV ever produced.

I don't think I can name a favourite episode. It's one of the few series I can rewatch over and over again. The funeral episode is the one that sticks with me the most. Probably because I'm old and attending more funerals. "I'm sorry for your loss. Move on"

I used to go to the rental store, rent a DVD, rush home and copy it to harddisk (only took about 10 mins), then go right back to the store and be like "my brother said he already saw this, can I get something else" and they'd let me pick another DVD for no charge.

Think I had a stack of ripped/burned DVDs 2 feet high. I never had a brother.
