Nice of you to say, definitely need to do better in the participation department in general. The trampoline was as much for me as them 😄 Used to be able to flip all over the f’n place having been a competitive gymnast as a kid.

I just took them to a trampoline park 2 days ago funny enough, for one of the kiddos birthday. After repeatedly going down this vertical slide face first on a mat, landing on a not so slick air mattress thing (where my feet scorpioned over my back like a skater face planting*) I though I'd be sore for sure but woke up fine.

Cleaned a junk...whole damn dresser out. Somehow...I have three Steam Decks. I know I bought a white one a couple years. No idea where the other two came from. Guess I bought for the kids, but don't remember doing so.

take my near 80 year old mom to physical therapy. she is a little wobbly with a hurt knee, so i walk her to the room and go back to sit down. i pass the young and very cute PT girl and have a seat. later, door opens and i hear mom and the girl talking, mom says, my son will help me to the car. i walk up to them. the girl, "oh that's your son, he looks way to old to be your son". i make eye contact with her and she starts fumbling.
"i mean, its your beard, it makes you look old, i mean older.... your beard is white. i..." at that point she just stopped talking and started looking around. mom saved her by asking her about something else.

have not really been paying attention, but last bit of color is nearly gone.

If she were smooth, she'd have known to immediately flip it to "no, I mean you're much too young to be his mother!"
Kids these days! what do they even teach them in medical school! /scoff

I have no grey on my head yet, and have enough left for a good John Wick longer hair style (good at hiding a slowly creeping Widow's peak). If my beard stubble gets like 3 days old, I can see a few greys, but I look better clean shaven anyway. My daughter just hit 20, and at the community pool with a dive mask on last week, the 15 year old girl she was talking to thought I was her brother. Score!!!

(Swim Mask off it would be obvious I'm old :p )

I'm worried that in another decade I'll look like a reddit mod when I have soaking wet hair QQ

Almost there myself, brother....
1783803389356.png

Tiniest bit of my natural brown still left. The top (i.e. hair) is pretty solid silver now already, the beard is lagging.
End of the soup catcher is just past my nipples, which according to the chart makes me "captainly" and not yet "wizardly". Gearing up for my early retirement from cybersecurity and into a career as a mall Santa.

Went to an 8pm show in Vegas last night (Jimmy Carr was very funny) got home at midnight. Got up this morning at 9am and started shampooing carpets (well my wife did the bulk of the work but I lifted the heavy bits). Just as soon as I stopped, every joint/muscle/bone side eyed me like what the fuck you think you're doing?
