Do you know first hand anyone who has been proven to test positive for Covid-19?

He's dead so can't tell us you cold-hearted asshole. This isn't a court of law.

Oh look, Boozecube doesn't understand the business consequences of failing your residents. Big surprise. Nobody wants to have the label of having coronavirus deaths in their facility. Nobody. Admitting it is failure.

Do I need to administer the fucking test? Nothing will be good enough for your poorly formed mind. His 94 year old wife informed my rotary club about the how and why of his death -good enough for me. My colleague is not allowed back to work until cleared by the company - good enough for me.

Yeah - it's great for business to tell everybody that coronavirus is rampant through their facility. Huge incentives for lying about it. No, there is no reason to lie about it. No "bonus," just increased business costs now and moving forward and horrible advertising for future residents.

Do you know first hand anyone who has been proven to test positive for Covid-19?

The 95 year old died 2 days into symptoms at home. Test post mortem - Fuck you for asking. Colleague had gotten knee surgery so was out. Probably got exposed at hospital. After both he and his wife were sick, he got tested and came back positive, wife with antibodies. Been weak and low O2 for...

A positive test as stated in the question you knob. Wouldn't have posted if there wasn't a positive test in both cases.

One colleague from work, mid 50s. Has been sick and in/out of hospital for close to two months, so caught it it mid to late March. Also had a 95 year old friend from my rotary club die from it in early April. This is in central N.C.

Coronavirus Updates, Important Information, and Ancedotal Experience

Need time to build up testing and contact tracing infrastructure to prevent rapid spread once things are opened. Since the feds have been slow on that the states are scrambling. Mass isolation is since we don’t know who has it so need to use a blunt instrument. The better way is coming, but the...

If you’re both carriers then will need to do IVF for future kiddos unless you are willing to roll the dice on that. Hopefully your ancestors didn’t give you the CF defect and that worry can go away.

    Moving Options

Depending on where you are moving from there are sometimes nonprofit, ex-con moving companies that have good rates. Delancey street (San Francisco) or Trosa (Durham NC) are examples that I know of and have used with success

    Home Improvement

My parents live on Guam - their payback time for solar was ~3 yrs. Where I'm at now the payback would be 10+ so not worth it right now. Living by a nuclear plant keeps our electricity prices fairly steady so long-term doesn't look great for solar either. Oh well!

Going to College as an Adult

Naming reactions is total bullshit for entry level courses. Doesn’t help understanding, I’m sorry your prof is stupid old school. Naming can be important later, but in orgo 1 it’s a waste. (Reagent choice is fair game tho).

Going to College as an Adult

Man, orgo isn't hard unless you try to brute force/memorize it. Learn the language first (how to draw bonds, arrows, etc.). Then basically identify the nucleophile and the electrophile and let them react to one another - pushing the electrons lower in energy until everything finishes up. This is...

Are you smarter than a 4th grader?

Diversity what now? Where’d that come from?!? Thing is, the proven methods to date have created a single recipe for success. That recipe doesn’t always work across all fields, and having a wider range of understanding and experience is essential for high end research. Engineers are an...
