Cheap Meals: Eating on a budget.

I've never heard anyone else talk about it, but growing up we used to have 'Breaded Tomatoes' about once a week. Basically crushed tomatoes with old/stale bread crumbled up in it. Added just a little salt & sugar, and it was actually quite good. We grew our own tomatoes and canned them, so it...

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

The leaves have Fal'len. But more seriously, human is the only race right now.

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

Babe, wake up. Pantheon is testing raids and had 350+ in the newbie area.

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

Mr. Sox, I never claimed it was an EQ drone(clone?). But I do think it feels more like EQ than EQ2 does. I think Pantheon has a chance to take EQ/EQ2 players in such numbers that Darkpaw/EQ will get scared and sue Pantheon due to likeness or trademark.

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

I've been enjoying what little of Pantheon there is to play, which has been a pleasant surprise. It dawned on me that their messaging/PR has been complete shit since Brad's death. It's their biggest failure. Even after playing the goddamn game, I still can't find enough interest to sit and...

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

I know this thread is falling gifs, but I played during the stress test and enjoyed it. I had given up hope and stopped paying attention to it long ago. Seeing the email invitation caught me totally off guard. Quick things I noticed: Loading/zoning was so much faster than I anticipated. I put...

    Embers Adrift

It officially launched a little over a year ago. Honestly, it has made big strides, and improved every patch. The biggest issue remains low population.

    Embers Adrift

So this game is closing in on a year, and they're planning on releasing their Alchemy (magic) system during the Anniversary event. If you wanted to give it a shot, it's a full 3 weeks - and I imagine the population will be inflated during this time. The game has improved a lot since launch, so...

    Dungeons & Dragons (2022)

I didn't even know the movie was out until someone mentioned it today. When I looked it up there was only 1 daily showing, so I figured I better catch it before it's gone. I went in with no clue what to expect, so I was thinking Warcraft movie quality. It was much better than expected. Pretty...

    Embers Adrift

A little over a month ago they had a free weekend. I picked it up and have been playing it off-and-on since. It would be hard for me to recommend to most people, because it still feels 'unfinished'. The last patch added a new zone, a few QoL improvements, ability adjustments, 8 quests, and some...

    Everquest - Live Servers

Ember's Adrift is an interesting (and recently launched) game that gives me the early EQ vibes. They recently had a free weekend, and I picked it up. It's light on the content, but it's scratching my itch for now. In other news: it looks like EQ gets a UI update this year, and DX 11 porting!

    Dune (2020)

Just got back from an early showing. Two others joined who had never read the book, and both of them went in blind. All of us liked it. One friend thought it was great to excellent. Other is interested in the book now - so that's nice. The visuals were very Villeneuve, so no complaints at all...

    Dune (2020)

100M in 3 weeks of the rollout. It will release in an additional 47 territories within the next 3 weeks, including China/US - so things are looking good for a sequel. I have to believe they will announce it while it's still in theaters to draw in anyone on the fence.

    Dune (2020)

Agree. I think 3D is best when used more for depth/scale. The first good use I can remember was Avatar's 3D . I liked the novelty of things 'popping out' of the screen/page when I was a kid, but now it just seems like a distraction (gimmick like you said).
