I kinda wished I had jumped on at the very beginning. The path of this game, though, just like all games similar to it, seems... inevitable. Hopefully these developers are smarter and defy the odds.

Anything that is skill check 12 is intended to be solved another way, and the skill check is just there to let you brute force it. I jumped what seems like ahead to Praeter where lots of mobs are skull at level 17 and skill checks seem to still be level 8.
