So I had an interesting day. Starts off with me joining a hole group. Takes everyone about 30 minutes to all get there which is slow but not that bad really. Starts off with our mage following me as I'm pulling and agroing 2 mobs and nearly dying, forcing our pally to have to LoH him. Then we clear deep into zone and get to our camp. Well, our main healer was a shaman but we had an enchanter and paladin tank so not bad really. Shaman says he can't afford to cast slows and heals and asks the enchanter to slow instead. Well, turns out our level 44 enchanter never bought any of her slow spells(they're vendored) because she was never asked to slow before(rofl...). I was already in kind of a bad mood so I'm just trash talking and sure enough they boot me from group which results in me training them and FD'n then breaking their mezzes and they wipe.
Then a few hours later I try to form my own hole group and of course I start off by asking some enchanter and he says "is it a full group?" to which I say no but give me about 3 minutes and it will be and he says "ok cool, let me know when it's full". Sure enough in about 3 minutes flat I have the entire rest of the group ready to go and let him know. He then says "ah actually I'm just gonna farm Lguk". Seriously? I fill the entire group in record time and now all of a sudden you don't want in after agreeing? Wtf. Normally I wouldn't care but enchanters are picked up so quickly they're hard to find. I ask him if it's cuz I'm level 39 and he goes "actually, ya". I explained I was pulling the zone at level 33 with no problems and got 5 levels in 4 hours but he didn't seem to care so I went off on him.
Then I find another enchanter like 10 minutes later and now group is set. We all get to the hole.....except our tank. Wtf our tank is still in commons 20 minutes later? He wasn't responding so I just kick him and ask another tank to come. Well the afk tank comes back and says "sorry couldn't find a port"....Seriously? Can't find a fucking port in commons? Are you kidding me? I said sorry got someone else...... who just so happened to also be an inbred retard because he couldn't find a port either. I then ask a 3rd fucking tank who was in everfrost and he says "nah thx" and I said just curious but what's your reason? He goes "too far". At this point I think I would probably have legit punched this person in the face if they were next to me irl.
How in the actual fuck can three people in their 40's not know how to get a port? How fucking utterly brain dead retarded do you have to be to accomplish such a level of stupidity? I swear I don't think I've ever waited more than 2 minutes for a port literally anywhere at literally any time of the day. Do people seriously not know they can /w all druids and send some fucking tells? Or join /taxi and ask one of the dozens of fucking porters in there? Blows my fucking mind that these people drive cars and shit. Scary ass world. Embarrassing really. Seriously hate people today.

My turn for some efreeti drama!~
A monk and enchanter let me know they found a fully popped efreeti room so they cleared it. Another group of Zardula folks come up and claim it as theirs saying they were clearing trash on the ramp up (umm what?). So I bring over my shaman to help hold the camp and defeat this evil. The chat in /say is very entertaining as this group is cursing us out saying Faceless stole the camp from them because they were clearing their way there. I was like you can invis past all the trash, you didn't win the race to the camp...sorry. They are chain dispelling our charm pet and being hostile, normal drama.
Now this is where it gets fun.
I load up my laptop to bring my druid box over to help with dps/healing, When I get to the efreeti room I go into full roleplay mode. "Hail and well met fine travelers! Let us defeat evil! Anyone need a druid?" The zardula group INVITES my anon druid into their group and proceeds to tell me how we are going to dispel and dps race etc. So I'm like yeah lets kick the shit out of faceless, fuck those guys!
So now I'm sitting here waiting for Djarn to pop while my druid is in the other group with group port to Toxx memmed. I wonder if they will be surprised?

I've got to admit, this is primo classic stuff. Please tell me you actually did port the group.
Part of EQ, imo, is knowing when you can win such conflicts and when you probably need to move on. I remember so much crazy shit with Dragons of Asia on Quellious! But that is why you had to be very smart. Or else, you end up in Odus, ported by an anon druid.....

Actually , that tank in Everfrost was me, so I origined to Oggok and started running to Commons while oocing and asking in Taxi for a port. You seemed pretty impatient and a dick, so I dropped the group. I hadn't even went through innothule yet when you started up. Got a port couple minutes later and got a group for 5 hours in the hole. Maybe next time just chill for a few minutes before getting your panties all bunched up.

Sorry my patience was worn too thin at that point. Can't tolerate people who have zero common sense or are just insanely lazy and can't seem to do something that I literally never have a problem doing. Also, why would you run to commons from oggok. You do realize feerrott is 1 zone away right?

When I have to teach people how to play a 20 year old game when they're in their 40ish level and have to explain common sense shit like /w all druid and sending tells for ports then ya I'm cancer as fuck to deal with. Generally if your IQ is in the double digits you're not going to like me very much. Pretty sure you're full of shit if you don't get tilted from people wasting your time or being utterly incompetent in groups/raids etc.

If you're grouping with randoms, you need to understand and accept random results in line with the average player of the server - which for Agnarr sounds super-duper ultra casual/laidback. It really sounds like you need to find yourself a tag with a guild of those with the same philosophy and only group with guildmates.
I personally prefer those that are on the ball and at the top of their game the times I've played - but I did so by only guilding with my own guild or with a handful of others that I knew to be solid individuals. The number of times I grouped on Phinigel with someone who was brand new to me could probably be counted on a single hand across all of Kunark and Classic.
Hell, from the sounds of things you're a damn monk - yes it's not ideal, but in a pinch if you're anxious YOU could be the tank until a real tank got there, evac back to Hole entrance when the tank arrives and pick them up - with no wait time.

How do you think I ran to innothule? Through ferrott. That zone isn't the easiest to find a port in but Commons is. You need to realize that everyone who is playing Agnarr is a not a eq vet. I've grouped with a lot of players playing for the first time. Some in my group last night didn't know how to get to the hole and yeah, took fifteen more minutes and succoring someone who jumped down instead of going to zone in but the group worked out. If you get tilted that easy, group with friends/guild only.
You all sound like pieces of shit, especially Lumi. The thought of you all on the same server is pretty hilarious.
You shouldn't be able to do that, the imps should see invis.

Ya sorry. I generally don't get tilted that easily but it was a long chain of events beginning with 4 losses in a row in HotS due to trolls then the sequence of events I explained. Two of the people in my group last night had never been to the Hole before but I explained to them very precisely how to get there and there was no problem at all. Anyways, if you ever need a port just go to any zone with a ring/spire and do a /w all druid 34 44 and send tells to any of them that don't appear to be in an exp zone like Lguk or something. I seriously never wait more than like 3 minutes for a port using this method. Just give em like 20p at least and add them to your friends list. There's even a guy named Dialaport that's like always online and is usually doing ports.
