It took a little while before I remembered that we used to have hunters md her to me and the three tanks stood together. Lol.

I gave BT timewalking the old college try. But there is way too much fucking trash in that place. I made it to Supremus and just teleported out. We only wiped once too. Just... no thanks.

Some people like to reminisce about the "good ole days". Me? I don't want to go back.

Out of curiosity, does the trash in BT TW at least drop scaled up loot? I'm going to guess no. Used to see that 1h mace drop pretty much every run, the various patterns, and oodles of gems. Can't recall anything else.

PUG Black Temple timewalking was pure aids. Doing it as a guild, as mentioned above, was easy and amusing - lots of bantering/joking about how people love the good ole days, and laughing at people who would get insta-gibbed because they figure they could just ignore mechanics. Easier than Normal Tomb by far and drops equivalent loot.

We'll be going for M KJ... in several months after several nerfs. We barely got M Gul'dan before Tomb released. Beat him Thursday night before release. I'm thinking it will be similar for us this tier as well.

The singularity on M KJ is ridiculous. Tank spawns a reflection that has to be killed before the singularity hits the floor. Once killed the tank gets a debuff that roots him in place and when dispelled AOE gribs the whole raid to him so they don't get pushed of by singularity.

All those rogues sure probably help for soaking Armageddons. Not only can they get into position pretty easily (along with the boomkins) but they can remove the DOT. I'm interested though how they did the big soaks. Does evasion work on the big ones?

Just a heads up to anyone wanting to recruit with us in the forum's casual guild:

The Seafarer's Slidewhistle is an absolute must-have for any applicant who wishes to join.

Anyone found not possessing it and/or lacking proficiency in its use before the pull or during the boss fights themselves, will find their status swiftly rejected.

Yep Method did it, a few interesting facts about the fight...

- Rogues aren't great at soaking Armageddons since cloak doesn't do anything for them, but they can use cheatdeath once per fight. feint is also pretty helpful for reducing damage. Hunters can soak them pretty easy however.
- justwait (who has been playing a monk since early NH) went Bear for the fight
- Sco and Justwait both used the shitty exoskeleton trinket from skorpyron for the felclaws - its great for attacks that hit multiple times in a short window terrible for pretty much everything else.
- balance druids they brought were AOE spec not single target to deal with the adds
- Their disc priest is god damn insane

Cheat death is supposed to only absorb an attack 2x your maximum health. Those things hit for upwards of 40 or 60 million unmitigated on mythic (can't remember exact number). Don't think it works. As for cloak and regular smaller Armageddons I can confirm it removes the DOT effect from them so that's at least useful. But since it is a physical attack I wondered if evasion immunes it. I really don't see how they got through it with only 5 soaks (3 from hunter 2 from pally). But if Rogues can soak with evasion it would make more sense. I wonder if they just had timing right so by the time pallie was done with second bubble hunters turtle has come back? Either way that still leaves the second big Armageddon to soak (I believe there are 2 big ones in Mythic), which would explain why they have 2 bear tanks. Lots of health and lots of big dick mitigation.

EDIT: Also I wouldn't focus too much on the trinkets. Apparently (don't know if its true) they can swap out gear to add to mystery. I don't know though, seems kind of far fetched to me, but those trinket choices are a bit weird. Although it makes sense because DMI is the best armor trinket in the game and that might help a little bit with geddons. Who knows. I'm no where near that level.
