Director of Studies called me into her office last friday. Told me she needed someone to cover 2 classes on monday and 2 classes on tuesday. I told her I could cover the monday classes (because I have lots of free time on monday) as long as she paid me extra. She agreed. Then I told her I could not cover the tuesday classes, because I work more than a full day on tuesdays. She said that was okay. Monday went off without a hitch. Tuesday though...
Show up to work today, start teaching and immediately get yelled at for leaving half my class in the hallway. Turns out, the DoS scheduled me for the tuesday classes anyway. I sent her a message. She told me she made a mistake, and to just give the kids the bookwork and it would be okay.

Fucking package delivery shit. I went to check downstairs if my package was left with the appartment clerk like they do quite often instead of ringing. Asshole just left the package in front of the door in the hall outside. Package was a 800euros monitor, in its own packaging(so it clearly says what's in it, no mystery brown box shit). How fucking lazy can you be that you can't check the door phone list(it's like 30names on there) and find a name in it just to tell me you were there, I'll come down and grab it I don't care if you have to leave quickly but don't just leave it outside like that. Fuck just send me a SMS/mail that it was delivered so I go check right away. Don't know if it had been there for an hour or what. Lucky no one felt like taking it.

Since you didn't sign for it, you might just want to claim you never received your package.

Yeah there's cameras. It's technically "signed", by the delivery guy who signed for the clerk. I mean it's all good, package isn't even fucked as far as I could tell, I plugged in the monitor to check quickly if it worked until I finish building the PC and it was fine, it's just rustling that it could have gone bad and then I'd have to go through a bunch of hoops to prove I didn't get it and this fucker left it there.

My HOA is holding a voting session to replace a Director on the Board, and there is only one candidate (other than write-in) available as an option. And this lady's statement for consideration is very poorly written. She's also an ex-parole officer (just what I want, an asshole Williamson County cunt on the HOA board).

I live in a close-knit cul-de-sac community where I'm friends with many of my neighbours. I'd be one of the few people to not give out treats if I did, and it's also complicated by living in a duplex. I don't particularly mind the local kids, it's the ones from elsewhere that come here because it's a prime location due to several cul-de-sacs within spitting distance.
