Tempo mage is probably the single most inconsistent ladder viable deck there is. Play something else if you don't like getting wrecked by board clears.

Yeah tempo mage ran flamestrike for a while then eventually every list cut it. It's better to just focus on trying to stay ahead.

Making the Guile theme play whenever a repeater procs would be an amazing mod. Or maybe only when someone with the OG XCom hair gets a repeater proc. The important thing here is that the Guile theme rules.

I honestly don't think Antonidas belongs in tempo mage. For every match where he bails you out, there are three more where he just gets in the way. This is the list I use. Rhonin is a tolerable replacement for Rag, he'd be good in standard if tempo mage survives the loss of mad scientist.
