On THJ I was a paladin with slay undead so Grummus was an easy win. Yelloweyes always seemed like a high damage high hp mob with no special abilities. I forget what the alternatives were but yelloweyes was good because he wasn't one of the instant losses for me like Akheva and one other (I forget)

Yeah I'll try different spots. I'm at something like 400 AA and fresh 55 with mostly classic gear so I still need to unlock luclin. Just tryin to get some of the tedious early AA out of the way so I can do unlocks and then get some plat in UP.

Its my first time playing around with it and I have it running the slime tunnel in DN. I made a dwarf which is stupid frustrating in that zone with the step ups into buildings or exiting the rat tunnel, so I'm kind of just testing feasibility.

It seems to work better if I minimize the window and turn off my monitor and walk away. When I'm setting up a waypoint loop and wanting to observe if there's any places i'm getting stuck or whatever that's when I get the crashes.

I seem to get a lot of (I think its) Dlldx9 something or other video crashes with auto combat. Anyone have this problem?

Yea, all they had to do was directly copy THJ and rake in cash. People don't want a mentally ill social justice warrior to bring their "vision" to a 27 year old game with new zones and timelines. They want god mode classic everquest. It's already complete and proven that its what people want.

I tried GW2 a few times and just couldn't get into it. I wasn't a fan of the weapon change and skill swapping system if I remember correctly. But MMORPG is a dead genre so I will definitely give it ashot.

Fixed. Just deleted eqdevice and eqclient.ini and whatever changed fixed my problem.

Thanks I'll give that a shot. I was going to do a meld of THJ eqclient.ini and NMS today to see if there's anything obvious in there. I did get rid of all the advanced settings straight off.

Yeah, I've done that. There were some tips in the discord on things to modify in your eqclient.ini and didn't seem to help either. UseLitBatches=False was recommended but that did nothing.

I get some video lag here for some reason. Did the 4gb patch. Set max fps to 60. Still happening. I have a really good rig that shouldn't struggle to handle 1999 graphics. Anyone know how to fix?

No one else playing this?! I can't tell if I am loving it or completely bored by it. I seem to alternate hourly. I think I love the city building and management part and am a little let down by the combat and events.
