yea I always play in window, and had it running before I started. Tried to even cycle through window and full screen just didn't pop up. I am going to try and switch primary and secondary for EQ and then maybe adjust some things in the .ini. Worse case I have a gaming laptop I haven't touched in a year I could potentionally use. I just don't like have my ultrawide as primary since I like to keep my pc on the login screen and it is an OLED.

sk/brd/wiz was a mistake lol. super easy to level manually because of swarm kiting with DDD and crazy sustain from SK lifetap procs but single target damage at 65 is turrible and the autocombat is kinda bad too. I could probably fix it to some degree by ditching bard for rogue to get backstab plus super powered poison procs with all the wiz AA but probably better to just move on. My new project is a enc/shm/nec super dotter.

Rogue adds a TON of damage with Wiz. Double/Triple/Ripost backstabs happen fairly often and they can proc poison. My memory is old, but I think poisons were doing roughly as much as hard cast wiz spells (10k poison and 12k wiz spells). The Anger of Shissar poison line procs often.

On THJ I used a SK/Brd/Wiz on my my second account to swarm kite PoF in order to powerlevel/gear all my other toons. Gear was only slightly behind and I couldn't come close to doing Time with him (I mean, In Luclin I think I once struggled through Vex Thal with him when his gear was close to the SK/Rog/Wiz and got through 3 or 4 bosses before the "fuck that").

Also, I though the premo DoT build was Dru/Shm/Nec instead of chanter for "Beeeeeeees!" AA.

Bees are much better for leveling but dopplegangers with a spellbar full of dots are absolute madness.

Almost 4 minutes for a kill? Is Triune really juiced up compared to THJ or is it just because shd/wiz/rog doesn't have a good way to clear the slow?

Don't really remember the details of the fight. I think I had the insta-cast cure shield, maybe. Is it a disease slow? If not, dunno. I remember not being able to cure the slow on Emp Shis during Luclin, but it was still a fairly easy fight, just long.

Shield of the immaculate clears the slow quickly.

Fungus covered Vial from the Ring of Fire event is a 10 charge Instant RGC clicky for the builds that don't have RGC.

Triune is juiced up compared to THJ. The extra Heroics for the stat food/drink make a big difference. The Pally shield stuff was like the last patch before the lawsuit and they were intending to nerf it.

Sold over a million plat of seru bane just this morning, fragments will probably start getting more common.

I think the Pally 1h/shield stuff made sense when it went in during Velious. They were completely mogged by clerics at the time and Palladius was so far ahead of everything else that Berserkers were the DPS of choice. I think Divine Avatar was made less good, Holyforge got added and then itemization flipped over the next two expansions and everything they got made less sense when a 1h knight sword is the top weapon.

Without looking up the necro spells directly, playing with the SK/Rog/Wiz taps was all about cast time. Once you get high enough spellpower and crit rate the two fast casting taps (chain cast, back to back) are going to out perform the longer casts in HP/sec and you are only using them for heals, otherwise you're going with better dps spells. A 1.5 cast time spell will also proc symp strike just as often as a 3+ cast time spell, so people used them just to fish for symp strike.

For buffs, again, without looking them up individually, it's probably about stacking. For example, you can get Cleric and Druid HP buffs to stack if you cast Kazad (or Mark?), then grove, then Virtue, where the Virtue only overwrites Kazad. Not 100% sure the stacking mechanics w/o looking it up, but remember getting druid and cleric buffs to stack. I believe you can do the same thing with Shaman's HP buff (Seven) instead of Druid too, but Druid is better because str/dex/agi stats are way over cap already, so only the AC/HP matter on Shammy spell.

If all that fails, my only other guess is that they didn't get around to updating that part of it (for PoP) before they quit, but I think it may have been one of the main petcuck spreadsheets in the THJ Discord (so it should have been updated my a few different people).

lol guess people lost interest in this pretty quick. Suppose those of you that have already been playing emus for the last however many years would run through the content pretty quick. Which I did too, so my options were to unfuck my brain enough to be able to solo Zeb which I should easily be able to do at my gear level, or start a second account to do SSF progression.

Could use an invite on my SK/Shm/Wiz, Nilhaus please! I'm still heavily invested in this as I never played on THJ, and haven't played an emu for a couple of years. Currently working on POP Progression at lvl 56 as that's where I stopped to farm AA's in DN, and then wondered how far I could get at this level.

I'm still playin but they did make an effort to really cut down on the advertising of the server and it showed. When whatever streamer was hit with copyright from daybreak they started removing references to THJ (changing echos of memory to triunes of fate and what not) and asking that their game not be streamed or advertised. Until that point I was noticing a pretty healthy population increase but it's definitely leveled off.

It's good and bad, I'd like the population to get to THJ levels because the economy on that server was such that you could farm time / seru / sleeper and unload all of it in a day and there was a healthy supply of anything you wanted to buy including legendary block / dodge augs. But that scenario would probably bring scrutiny from daybreak and it would be shut down. The economy is pretty shit here and there are fuckwads that are autobuying certain items and pricing them at ridiculous prices kind of acting as gatekeepers. Block / dodge augs don't really exist on the bazaar and things like signets of might are selling for 2 million which is crazy. I do the autocombat thing to farm for plat but I can maybe do 250k overnight if my character doesn't get stuck under the world or disconnect.

That being said I got both my first legendary dodge aug and first zeb kill today on the bandwagon war/mnk/pal character I made which felt pretty cool. I have a pal/rng/rog which I've cleared time on but not tried Seru yet because of the stupid yttrium aug / weapon market. Luckily I got an enchanted yttrium truth aug today so I'll pop that in her dagger and I bought a bow for 250k, so I'll have a go at Seru tonight.

They're working on LDoN I believe, I'm interested to see that expansion because I stopped playing at time. I do still plan to gear out the class I started first here and abandoned (mag/bst/brd) and I'm still having fun... but biggest complaint would be economy at the moment.
