Epic project going on here. Friends of ours have children that are all off to university, and they have this tree house in the back yard. It's 9 feet off the ground, on a huge deck. The tree house itself is 8 x 8 feet, and it has a 3 foot deck on the front and one side, and a 8 foot deck off...

Complex. Sounds awesome, though. I prefer any prepared meat with a bone in it to be in the state where it falls off when it comes to my plate. T-bone steak being the obvious exception. But even then, it shouldn't be work to pull it away from the bone. I'm coming to your place next weekend...

Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive signal sender which you can attach to any wire, and then trace it pretty easily. That might be a good next step. See if you can't find something else that is inline with that box. That might give you some insight as to what's going on there. The wires are...

The only Hardees near me are in travel plazas on the toll road, and everything everyone I know has had from them sucks the balls of immigrant donkeys. Awesome. We took them out to a couple things, too. No one would have more than a couple. If that flavour stays, I'm going to mail them poop in...

Pork came out pretty nice. Oblong slow cooker, yes. Pork and apples, with a stuffing type stuff in the middle is yum every time.

Sounds good, sir. I have an apple dressing stuffed pork loin that was seared and will be in the slow cooker for about 6 hours. It's about 140 now, I'll let it get to around 150, then pull it out to let it rest for 45 minutes or so.

So I tried one of these this morning. They said they had no Crossaindwich, so I had the croissan'wich instead. I still prefer just about any sandwich on the McDonalds menu to this. I shall no more go to Burger King looking for breakfast. I know, right? House of seven here, we threw the bag...

    Dude, where is my hair?

A good comb over can make those pesky balding patches disappear. In all seriousness, I have a full head of hair, but I have many friends who have gone the buzz it off route. Some of them shave it entirely, some keep it incredibly short with clippers (like almost stubble short), some keep...

I had Burger King for breakfast yesterday. The tater tot things are pretty good, but my sausage egg muffin was just terrible. I had about three bites, and threw the rest away. Bad texture, bad flavour, bad everything.

The stuffed olives were all I had, or I'd have used better ones. They do really well when put on the grill for a while. I recommend it. I get my kids involved, so it doesn't take all that much time. I get all the ingredients ready, and then all the kids put them on the sticks. Easy and fun...

I buy half a cow at a time, and as much as I love me some beef, I don't think I'll get through it in a week. And, if done right, beef comes out of the freezing process pretty well. Don't be surprised if the fresh beef you buy at the grocery hasn't been frozen at one time or another.

We tried the wasabi/ginger chips. Meh. Would not buy again. We also tried the pico de gallo ones, and I found them awful, though my wife liked them. We also tried the mango salsa ones, which were really too sweet. You're all aware of the competition going on right now, right? The...

You usually have to find a mom and pop style butcher shop, which every town has somewhere. Or go to your local farmer's market, and ask around. Someone will know someone who sells hogs. Or drive to a pig farm, and offer the farmer cash for a whole one, and butcher it yourself or some such shit.
