It really does seem like if they put even the slightest bit of effort in and had the intent to, they could drastically reduce the botting and RMT problems. Do what BDO does with the AH, give stuff a fixed price range, that adjusts over time if stuff is selling at max or min consistently. Hire a...

It's a good game, don't really care about the whales either. But they need to do something about the bots.

That's actually how I first heard about it lol, some ad on Youtube. Then I started reading and ya it's completely different, but I liked it enough to get caught up on the 2k+ chapters pretty quickly. The story revolves heavily around a system and skills, but not stat points, and later on you...

If you've ever played Elite Dangerous, he's basically flying with FA off in an OP ship. Next episode should show this more clearly if I remember right.

I'm still not sure I fully understand this genre, I've been reading First Legendary Beast Master and I'm caught up on it now, and I see differing opinions on whether it's part of the genre or not. Does anyone have any recommendations of stuff similar if you've read it? Not necessarily the beast...

Space Mercenary first ep was good, the novels were pretty great. It's basically Elite Dangerous + EVE Online + some fantasy and space magic. Also looking forward to Zero Believer Goddess, another one I've read and liked a lot.

I suspect set bonuses will offer stuff energy related, but we'll see.

No clue, Asmon said she plays Maplestory though so she at least has some MMO experience.

The character creator is great, probably the best I've seen. BDO is probably the 2nd best. I went US west Elyos, archer.

Olympus and the streamer gold buying drama is the real MMO content. Vanilla was all about the drama.

Asmon's GF

My understanding is that all the rule sets are their own mega realm.

I just linked an interview a few pages back where they said it's still vertical progression, just lesser upgrades between tiers.

I've been enjoying Asmon's Olympus stuff and horde racism I just saw "13% of zuggers commit 53% of gankings" lol

I see people mentioning horizontal content a lot, but the game will still be vertical. From https://www.mmorpg.com/interviews/blizzcon-2026-interview-chatting-wow-forevers-campsites-horizontal-progression-and-more-with-blizzard-2000138932 : "You know, at the end of the day, World of Warcraft...

I'm happy if Blizzard just goes back to stealing all the best stuff from everything else.

Nice they're doing it

I'd take BDO's trade and market price restrictions in any game over the rampant bots and RMT'ing everywhere. BDO still has a piloting issue, but it's nothing like other games.

This mod is pretty cool, I'd be a lot more likely to play PvP realm if this was built in.

I'm reading that they've removed a lot of the p2w for global? If that's true then I might be back in for launch.

TBF with the names, I'll choose a better one when it actually goes live. Beta is for fun and trolling.

With the 30 extra, you're basically paying 15 for a month of sub when it launches, and 15 for a month of beta. The cosmetics are whatever.

You need the epic version.

I restarted and updated my graphics drivers and the FPS problem is fixed.

I hope they never add flex. I'm guessing all 40 mans will be 1-2 bosses, while the big raids will be 10 and 20 mans.

Got in, but it wouldn't connect then it put me back into a 17k queue.

Beta install is up for those who didn't do the cmd thing.

They said going hard after gold BUYERs too, perma bans. Also no GayDKP.

Priest wins, but they all look pretty good. I like the rogue one a lot too.

Shaman tanking looks challenging with no shield if you go 2h, not a lot of avoidance, and no aoe threat abilities or taunt. But I suspect they're planning to support it with gear so we'll see.

They stated at one point during some panel that they want to shake up the meta, and they don't want class stacking as bad as it got with warriors. They just need to adjust the rage gain scaling with gear which they might've already done. Plus they can actually make balance changes now. I do hope...

I hope they have something planned for weather systems to go along with their new visual effects. I think it's one of the most immersive things they could add. Flurries of snow in Dun Morogh, a tropical rain storm in STV with water evaporating off the ground after the rain creating mist, a...

I don't see UBRS on there, I wonder if they're revamping it into a raid.

Changing up classes, items, professions, etc and removing world buffs from raids are hopefully all good steps towards nerfing the faggotry of so many classic players who are unable to function mentally without guide x and streamer y telling them exactly how to play the game.
