Monetization is dbg shit. The stuff like refusing luclin models is passion project shit. Its the same sentiment as no instancing back when box crews were taking over. They could have luclin models and revamped zones but choose not to. The paywall for shit like bags and primary classes is...

Actually, its a cash grab by DBG, basically everything related to everquest is. It's not a cash grab by the legends' devs, though. They sincerely believe in what they're doing and want people to like it. Its kind of the problem for me here. If they were really just trying to make profits they'd...

Your names are individually offensive. Too obvious. If you name yourself, for example, master sea and your son is bait man - now you have something to go with that might fly.

Everything's a toilet if you believe in yourself.

Whats wrong with Holly? In what way was she unqualified for the job blizzard hired her for and/or why wasn't she qualified for the promotion she got to where she is now? I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on this one.

Would anyone even buy pantheon? With how adhd the devs were, how many years of little outcome, and constant redesigning, I cant even begin to imagine what a complete clusterfuck behind the hood this must be

Last few pages are 10/10 thanks guys and thanks vaccine makers for this.

Yeah its totally unfair and unjust that Holly and her ex-eq-dev team basically stole the completely original concepts behind this legends server and look to be doing a more professional job of it that may kill this off.

A lot of you dudes care waaay too much about publicly totally not caring about asmongold.

Yeah the whole point of drawing it out like they did is to have it align with the release of a newer future tlp so that people have somewhere to jump to after pop. Its built deliberately to NOT have an upswing, but to unload onto the 2027 tlp instead.

If this is just a summary of everything they ever did, perfect post

Nitpicking the word forced is stupid. If the game makes it prohibitively difficult to play unless you do something, people call it forced. If its only slightly more advantageous to do it, that isnt forced. Eql is deliberately built around not only not forcing grouping but not even making it more...

If you're playing EQ without a diagnosable personality disorder, I honestly hope you're retarded because otherwise what the fuck?

You're like those angry 47 year old women that just drink wine and hate men all day every day, except you drink mountain dew and hate everquest and probably smell the same. Just fuck off already my guy

Eql too easy nothing to do unsub. Eql too hard cant do bees fuck trannies unsub. Fuckin love eq.

His arrest probably ended their funding. I blame his wife cucking him for the loss of pantheon.

What makes it better than just going to the 2nd floor of hate?

Just swap a class in the same loadout. Open your storage and swap whatever is red. Takes less than a minute. This is EXACTLY the kind of shit they SHOULD monetize, because it has 0 in game power impact. Put buy 1 gayass boar get 1 loadout free or something. Who fucking cares?

The loudouts are just for gear sets. You can swap your secondary classes freely. So a single loudout can eventually level every single possible class combo. You just need to manually change around the gear after you flip classes if something no longer fits. I hate the gear saving etc and dont...

What are you even trying to communicate now?

If all motes are the rank 1 mote and they just drop like candy from d4 and you have to just upgrade them at the blob to use em higher... that sounds tedious and takes away a lot of the oh cool when a higher one drops. Simpler for sure though.

Lots of people who either live outside the us... or are jobless. NOT most eql players though. This isnt the first time youve taken measurements at some obscure time. Last one was while instances were disabled just a few hours before downtime? Stop being a disingenuous cunt.

I suspect its the opposite. Dude does nothing but play eq for 24 years, and cant understand how 10:30am on a weekday is not a time to expect to find people playing a more casual and solo friendly version of the game. I figure its sorta like the 40 hours a week being high end of casual mentality...

Who the fuck plays at 10:30am on a weekday? What the fuck are you even doing man? That's not a time to do measurements at. Stop being a retard.

My guess is they really dont want to ban unless they have to, so they're only going to ban people that are either obvious softball catches, or people reported for shitass behavior that also ticked an anticheat. So many obvious cheaters dont get punished.

I'm sure theres some anecdotal false positives and mistakes but I've reached the point where if someone gets banned I just assume they're dirty and really don't make any effort to believe the excuses, partly because I don't really care all that much anymore that they're dirty (unless they're a...

Wow was still closed but known about during god. Open beta hit during oow.

Have you played god? Its great now. Really well put together at this point. Also I said its the best LOOKING expansion and that was true even when it was broken. Barindu and kodtaz for example are really impressive.

That's insane. Why stop right before dodh? Its one of the best.

This sounds great if you're an emulator autist who thinks gates of discord is awful and refuse to move past pop. If the game ACTUALLY proceeds on to some of these really excellent future expansions like gates, tss, sof, it needs to have progression to follow with it. Given the people in...

If they use up all the existing aa options that exist through to live, by like luclin, the fuck do they do?

People who like haggling and bartering are fucking cunts. Fuck every single one of them/you. Put a fucking price tag on your shit and sell it like a normal first world seller, not some third world shit stall. Bazaar day 1 is the best thing they ever did.

I think a lot of you saw how faggoty the EQL devs were and, being competitive types, you decided you are going to totally outdo them. And you have. Well done.

I assume dbg despises gj deep down. Theyve been jobbing along for years. There are probably like 2 people doing 95% of the work and actually making eq run, and everyone else (especially their cs team) just coasts. Bringing in 2 outsiders who do more in a month than most of them have done in...

Wait, wasn't that whole mote bug thing on wednesday morning? And they took personal instances down for several hours at like 5am or whatever? So this figure is looking at eql when it hasnt had instances available for several hours and its early morning in the usa and the previous 2 weeks it had...

16 hours a day is casual. You have to sleep less than 8 hours to be hardcore.

It kept giving the mote quest for raids after 3. So if you were a slacker who waited until the last few hours to finish raids, chaching!

Original eq was that way, and this game leans heavily on the emu/p99 design floors, so its kinda sad but unsurprising.

Devs finally back from story hour and reset the server I guess!

Nah man, whining doesnt validate your bs. You posted like a full size ai generated gotcha thinking you won an argument about p2w because the game had a design you can EASILY get through for free (anyone can make a rogue and sneak, at any time) but you COULD pay to diety change and skip game...
