Well I am pretty sure I want to play Horde. As much as I might have liked to main Alliance for once. I would have liked if they made Trolls and Orcs use updated models that stood up straight though. Or even give you the option to use them. Troll 2h animations are so bad.

C'thun worshipping Furbolgs. I'm down.

Since they are returning to stuff from Warcraft 2 like the Order of the Horse this is doubtful. Much of what we see may indeed be characters we have seen before but taken a different direction. Al'Akir is already here and all.

Guys keep it down! Bliz is going to run out of fantasy ideas at this rate.

I think this might be stretched. Like later on you can go with Naxx gear to Forever Content Patch 2 and survive. But the items from that content patch have +DMG vs Earth Elementals or something so the gear from there makes you much more effective there than if you have stuff from elsewhere...

You are free to doom as much as you like man. You do you.

Free and supported by MTX. Just like many games that exist today.

None of these arguments has any basis in reality. Turtle WoW had a robust population for YEARS despite only adding their college project level additions. Many of them were good and innovative but they were all amateur productions. Ascension had a robust population for years. Even in their...

Oh the fun police are here again.

They have something cooking for Starcraft that will take nearly 4 years to complete. There's been hints that it is really big and ambitious.

No we are all over the place.

In a way similar to OSRS here is what I hope plays out. Suppose you play for a few years and grind up some of the factions of the time for various crafting recipes. You get bored and quit playing for a few years. You come back, nobody really plays wherever that faction is anymore as there's...

I am really trying not to spoiler myself on neat gear but I have seen some interesting ones here and there. A blue lvl 20 axe that can mine ore nodes with charges. A low level ring that has a set pair with a high level ring for a really strong bonus. Which would keep high level players going to...

People will be sweaty here too. Make no mistake.

Dude, people ate up Turtle WoW with their amateur hour garage project updates and they kept attracting more and more players. When Forever is an astounding success watch more resources get dumped into it. If those guys could churn out content patches and mini expansions on a regular basis then...

Well after 4 months of looking to replace the shitter I got to quit I found 3 candidates in the Chicago area. The first pick refused the offer, whatever. Second pick is pending and the third is the one I rejected but leadership approved. A Nigerian woman. At the very least she is very...

We don't need these big stories though. You are the story. You are some adventurer just trying to make his way in the world. The Horde or Alliance asks you to do stuff from time to time. Dragons cause problems and are bad. Big elementals cause problems and are bad. That is all you need to do...

I play mostly at night too as I am just busy during the day. But I don't mind that. Game looks good at night.

They have day and night cycles in Forever.

It's realmless though. For it to be 99:1 Alliance all realms in the PVP ruleset have to be 99:1 Alliance. There is no one server to quit or Horde server to relocate to.

I saw that they have implemented and expanded on the Black Market from Mists in this. I never had a problem with the Black Market but people complain about it. Most interesting is the Steamwheedle Cartel will likely have a reputation vendor that lets you buy from a smuggler. The smuggler sells...

Hand of Virtue in Planes of Power lasted like 3 hours with AAs. That is reasonable buff length if you had to spend 50 platinum per cast or whatever it was. You also had the benefit of being able to cast for a massive group within an AOE with the AAs for it. Using additional reagents to do that...

That seems in line though. Back in EQ days Hand of Virtue (PoP health buff) required peridots per cast. Having reagents in this game should be expected, at least for some spells.

Yes, the rulesets are mutually exclusive. I still need to find a guild though so I may have to suck it up.

Also yet another nice innovation from Turtle WoW I hope they adopted was PvP quests during normal questing. You can skip these of course but most of them were simple, do a game or two of WSG and you were rewarded with a nice questing item. Usually a weapon. This gets more players to drop into...

The latest build fixed the completely fucked lighting on Mac a little. Not seeing a green tint on everything. Resource nodes still turn black when you use them, need to investigate it a bit further. I am happy Asmon is bringing so many players, I just don't want to be anywhere near his simp army.

Clean it then you degenerate. This compelled me to also upgrade my 7 year old Steel Series mousepad though. I appreciate that they have the gigantic desktop covering ones that I prefer now. The Gelatinous Cube one looks really good. Please tell me of the quality of it when you get it.

Im just fucking with you. I am glad there are more hunter pets and everything.

Ok that is actually awesome.

While gay he has always been a gay ass PVPer so it isn't like he's breaking character. He's in it for love of the game at this point PVPing on a feral druid since vanilla is a special kind of retard. As a change PVP gear needs to be completely useless outside of PVP.

But for some reason gay space elves on an isolated floating space island for 10000 years have quite the bandit problem.

It is quite a lot more than 3%, but you do you.

I've already seen them and I haven't even played 8 hours of the beta.

One consideration for rules and faction due to this Realmless stuff is that I really don't want to be around these gay streamers and their simps. Xaryu, Asmon, and Esfand all have literally thousands upon thousands of simps following them around. This means I need to be on whatever ruleset they...

Horde needed it a lot more. Eastern Kingdoms were more fleshed out in general compared to Kalimdor upon release. This remained the case forever. If you didn't play Horde the leveling deadzone in the late 30s-40s was super annoying. Dustwallow Marsh anyone!?

Menethil Harbor being the travel location was clearly a development crunch time thing back in 2004. That they never updated it was a very clumsy mistake. Again something that Turtle did very well was having more flight paths. Horde could take a flight path from a Zeppelin directly to the...
