Not sure that's really his fault. His character gets a one-line introduction - 'he's an immortal with a god complex' - and then it's Lobo doing Lobo shit in various scenes off and on for the rest of the movie. Edit - oh, they released it as a clip, this is the depth of his entire introduction...

Supergirl and Lobo are largely fine in this, it's just a boring, generic villain and various nondescript locations (literally brown planet with blue star, brown planet with yellow star, brown planet with... etc) that make for an unremarkable movie. It feels like a lower tier MCU movie from like...

1.0 October 15th.

Pfft, I got Claude now, next time I play this I'll be copying and pasting lots of screenshots asking for help 🤣

Also, still no sign of online stuff, this is explicitly for the single player game. Online launched 2 weeks after GTA V, but I wonder how they're balancing the transition from that cash cow (still over 1 million daily players 13 years later) to attempt to find that same success with GTA VI Online.

Yeah, no disc doesn't really bother me (I've got almost 2000 games on Steam and haven't bought a physical title this console gen), but that's a lot of content beyond skins and cars. Was surprised to see a bunch of shops and stuff on the site.

Matt on FB: I’m happy to announce that our friends at Peacock have officially greenlit the Dungeon Crawler Carl television series! Me, Chris Yost and Seth MacFarlane and his team at Fuzzy Door are all really excited to get to work. In the coming weeks I'll have more details, and if you're going...

Invites sent for those who ordered controllers 4 minutes after preorders were to go live (a lot of orders got in a couple minutes prior, so this is more progress than it appears to be).

The movie can't and shouldn't address every religion, it just is focused on that of the characters involved. It covers both of the crisis of faith it evokes as a common sense reaction as well as people of the same faith being accepting of the reveal.

Thought it was fine, but nothing worth rushing to a theater to see. Emily Blunt should be nominated for some awards for carrying it.

Last I saw on Reddit, they've fulfilled the first like 90 seconds of preorders or something.

For Hagga specifically right? Yeah that's the fix there. Think I'm at 16 and it hasn't happened again.

This is better than the last couple seasons of For All Mankind, but just find I have it on as noise while im doing other stuff as I'm not super into the dystopian Russia stuff and more interested in where they're going to take the space program.

Yeah, lots of changes, maybe we'll restart our latest run that stalled out at Mountains / Silver.

Waiting on my shirts, but new stickers arrived from High Art, this one's on the case of my 12" iPad Pro. I've already spent more than i should have on this crap, have 4-5 of the woot shirts at this point, lol. https://shirt.woot.com/offers/dungeon-crawler-world...

Yeah my settings a pretty vanilla - 2x gathering, no storms (might turn that on at some point) and no durability loss but think that last one is broken. I'd increase fief and build limits but that requires a client and server config change, so will deal with that if it ever becomes relevant. A...

I dunno, I haven't had to hack at much. I'm using the default hyper-v implementation, allocated 35gb total, with Hagga bumped up to 16 itself. When there are updates I stop everything and run a command from the battlegroup bat file that runs everything to backup the db, then another one to...

There's no progression from expansion to expansion right? Some unlock powers/features/uniques - that's all there is right? Having access to all of them in general just providing for a larger amusement park-style experience to play in?

Just caught up on this stuff over the last few hours, wild.

Sainz on that restart getting sent into the wall and then tagged again, was like Julius Caesar out there, everyone taking a stab.

There's a nice DIscord server owners have put together, some have made admin panels and there's some assorted hacking at the software by some - Join the Dune Awakening Self Hosted Private Server Owners Discord Server!

lol oops. @Amod a thread title fix plz. ty.

I scrolled down to the reviews after looking at the screens and saw the exact review I hoped to see:

This is what I did too. Overall it was a good series, I thought it only got better and better as the season went on. A welcome change after The Boys and For All Mankind seasons I just endured.

A lot of speculation that BYD is laying the groundwork to possibly become the 12th F1 team. https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/insight/byd-s-f1-entry-faces-steep-hurdles-despite-monaco-talks/gm-GM4F1BD166?gemSnapshotKey=GM4F1BD166-snapshot-1&uxmode=ruby

A lot of shit going on this week, with state of play and the game fest mentioned above, EA's got both Madden and College Football stuff dropping too, as they announce / push a new subscription service for them and some form of beta for CFB. I know most don't care about sports games here, but...

I'd say no. Maybe some loose conceptual connections, but Backrooms is more about making the familiar confusing and uncomfortable, which then naturally leads into the horror of it all. I still can't get my head around a 16-19 year old writing and directing this. He has a great interview on The...

But really, based on current trends, I expect next season to be a 'we've gotta unite humanity against AI' or something to conclude the series. Really good/bad stuff will happen, with a united happy ending for mankind to give us a too on-the-nose wrap to the show.

2.1 plans, and Earendel's leaving Wube. https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-440

S7 is obviously Thomas Jane as Josephus Miller, a detective who investigating into the disappearance of an heiress on Ceres Station.

Finale reminded me of watching the end of The Boys - a better episode than the balance of the season largely because the bar had been set so low by the time it was finally here. I translated the teaser at the end and was googling around for whatever the hell it meant, so will just past this...

I did the thing, might as well. Love it or hate it there will be plenty to post for a while about it I'm sure. https://www.firesofheaven.org/threads/007-last-light.16773/

Guess I'll start a thread, I'm sure I'll play it a little more before gaming ADD hits and suddenly it's been a month since I fired it up. I put in about 90 minutes last night (through 'basic training'), it's pretty impressive and well put together so far. Nice looking and well designed set...

Meanwhile Corsair is like 'HEY, PAY MORE FOR THIS RAM, WE PUT PICTURES ON IT' Maybe it's more than just that (idc, I can't use DDR5 in my current box), but that was my first impression...

Watched 2 episodes last night, and liked it more the further I got into it.
